Really disappointed by their service during this pandemic. I’m having this pelvic pain for more than a month and I called them many times to schedule an appointment and I was put on hold to talk with nurse. Automated recording was saying …
Before writing this I looked over the previous reviews and conclude that there must be something broken. Getting through via phone is difficult with either no response or long wait times. Like many, I really like my doctor so I followed her …
After four years I am done. This office is a temple of inefficiency. It took three visits and 5 months to get results of a physical from a nurse. They had to mail it. Their IT told me their online system just doesn’t work for me. No other …
Extremely rude and unprofessional. Tried to call in to make an appointment. Got berated on the phone by the receptionist that I haven’t been there for over a year, that they don’t have any appointments for the next 4 months, and it’s all my …
It will take forever for someone to pick your call. How long should I wait for response! This happens every time I call them. Thinking about changing my pcp because of poor management
The doctors are fabulous and clinical staff is great. They seem to have no idea how to refill prescriptions, though. My prescriptions have been written incorrectly on my bottles and thankfully I know my proper dosages ,however if I followed …
Disappointed in their service. I tried to become a patient and registered both myself and my husband on their website. I was able to successfully schedule 2 physicals and so I changed our PCP with our insurance. I got a call back from the …
As much as I like the knowledge, expertise and dedication of Dr. Cooper, I have to review the office as a whole. I have had issues with Acton medical in the past, but always let go, but this time I want others to know before choosing any …
Several improvements since I wrote this review. New alternatives to the phone logjam. Up to 4 stars now. I have found both my primary physician and the other clinical staff I’ve seen (infectious disease specialist and a couple of …
Impossible to get a nurse on the phone. If you choose to leave a message, they may or may not get back to you. One time they called me back 36 hours later. Doctor missed appointment- they tried to tell me I went to the wrong location. I …
I have been a patient for a few months; my son has been for a little over a year since his birth. I am thrilled that one of the nurses at Emerson suggested this place since her own children are patients there. My son has received wonderful …
Appointment station is just horrible. If you don’t like answering phones find a different job. I called twice on two different phones to have a lady get frustrated and hang up.
The only reason this place is given that much of a star is because of Dr. Alexandra Ianini, my children’s pediatrician who is truly an amazing doctor and my children love her. …
Pediatricians are great, Nurse practitioners are very good however adult medicine doctors are poor and admin staff is worse. Almost impossible to get an appointment and very rude on phone all the time.
Patient services here are a joke. Aside from the issues I’ve had with Drs and PAs, it’s impossible to get on the phone with someone if you don’t wait on hold for two hours. No call backs after two weeks of leaving voice messages. Look elsewhere if you’re considering Acton Medical.
Cannot rate lower – phone system is terrible. Nobody picks up after one hour. Even during normal hours. We’ll call you back should include ” in the far future” . If this is a medical need don”t call us.
been going here most of my life—i don’t have issues with staff but the call system is absolutely brutal and the hold music i’ve spent so much of my time listening to couldn’t be more shrill and grating especially for someone sick and with a …
I had a fever of 102
Hadn’t slept in 9 days. I called. DR Mazur to ask for a cough medicine that would finally help me sleep, I was met with an argument. When I said “do your job” …
They are not doing themselves any favors by having such an ineffective web portal that makes it difficult to find an appointment. The hold times on the phone queues (which are frustratingly long) could be reduced if they provided a useable …
Horrible experience. You have to talk to a nurse before you can schedule any appointments other than physical – even a regular test. It is ridiculous. You are always put on hold forever or left to a voice message. I have never get through …
The only reason I stay with Acton medical is because I like my primary care doctor, Dr. Paparello. I’ve been there for twenty-five years and the management keeps getting worse. I feel bad for the nurses and other staff as they are …
Been a patient for many years. I like my doctor even though it is an assembly line. My big gripe is that no matter what I do, it is difficult to communicate with them. Calling the nurse could take an hour and their secure messaging isn’t checked.
Our sons doctor is wonderful Dr.Cooper. My own adult experiences have been terrible. They have lost my results many times and then have asked me and billed me for my revisit. When I ask why they lost my result they have no idea what or no …
Absolutely abysmal service! I spent a whole morning trying to get someone on the phone (I didn’t speak to single human on the after 5 hours of trying) I tried to go to an urgent care; but I couldn’t without a referral from the office I …
Call times are completely unacceptable for a health practice, and at this point there is no excuse given they have been aware of the issues and promising improvement for years despite service continuing to be abysmal. They have provided …
The office cancelled my physical about an hour before my appointment because of cold symptoms despite testing negative for COVID multiple time. There was ample time to provide notice of cancellation after my screening earlier than 1 hour …
I’ve been a patient here nearly my entire life. Tried to call to refill a prescription, and I was told they have never prescribed me the medication that I was holding in my hand. …
I went here from age 2-28 and pediatrics was great, but my adult doctor was very poor. She did not know the basics of trans/queer health, mental health, and the office is not informed on how to treat queer or medically complex individuals. …
AVOID!! I have been helping an elderly relative with Covid and then a bad fall. It’s almost impossible to talk to anyone. You are either on hold for hours, or you leave a message, but don’t get called back (it’s been over 2 weeks)! When I …
This office has gone downhill. If you want a friendly front office, high morale and the feeling that your health is a priority look elsewhere. At this practice it is very difficult to make appointments, long wait times on the phone, call …
THE FINAL STRAW:
Attempted to schedule my physical today. After spending 20 minutes on their …
I’ve been with Dr. Girolamo since he was a new doctor when I transferred to Acton Medical. I’m writing you today because this facility has been going downhill fast. First I want to say, Dr. Girolamo is amazing but that’s where it seems …
Impossible to get anyone to pick up there phone. The whole online system seems designed to make you give up trying to make an appointment, just like the phone system. I waited on hold for over an hour trying to return a call that was …
One of the most disappointing Doctors offices. The staff is hit or miss, if you expect prompt appointment times you’ll be disappointed. The majority of the Doctors in this office are there to move you in and out as quickly as possible. They …
I had very bad experience when I tried to schedule my annual physical exam. The coordinator was very rude to me. I felt bad that I can’t get annual exam done this year. She started to yell to me and hung up the phone. Worst experience …
My Primary Care Doctor is terrific. Good parking. Good location. But booking an appointment via online is a joke now with the Healow portal. I have been trying for a few weeks to just book a nurse for a shot and can’t get it booked. This …
Grew up with this place as a kid, but am finally ready to look elsewhere for medical care. While my interactions with their medical professionals have been great, the process of booking appointments and paying bills is atrocious and a far …
Maybe if your an adult that doesn’t get sick often this is a good place for you? As someone with two children 3 and under, when I call within 15 minutes of the office opening, I don’t expect to wait on hold for 20 minutes to reach a …
If you want your sick kid to be seen at your appointment time, good luck with that. Try like an hour+ waiting. Question is, why bother making appointments in the first place. Do a drive through, first come first served instead. Try calling …
I recommend Dr Margaret Werner, Pediatrician at Acton Medical Associates. She is very friendly and thorough. My 2 daughters are the patients of Dr Werner for several years and i felt like she provides care to my kids same like how she may …
