My trash bin frequently doesn’t get fully emptied. I call and ask them to ensure it gets emptied, and they say they’ll alert the route, but it keeps happening.
Customers services was very terrible. They got trained to lie not providing services.. I called every day checking in my pickup, got told everytime pickup had been scheduled and in progress, but they never came.. bad services and lie..
I don’t know why people rate ACI so poorly here. They always pick up the trash on time. The drivers are friendly and clean up if they spill anything. Yes, replacing a broken bin or ordering the bulk container may take two calls instead of one, but overall, we are very happy with the trash collection services.
ACI has started a can replacement program to start service on October 1st in San Ramon.

Unfortunately I’m not on the bill and can’t make a formal complaint with the company, but the driver that has our route keeps tossing our trash cans and leaves a mess down our street. It’s almost like a trail of bread crumbs. The trash cans are not even all the way filled. I miss having waste management, never had an issue with them.
They forget to pick up my garbage and recycling at least one time every month. I’ve called them many times and even got the mayor involved. They apologize but no progress. They offered refund, but I have not seen it. They need to reorg their management and staff. Worst service ever.
The garage collectors are really lazy. Won’t pick up properly placed cardboard next to bin that’s within size. Also regularly misses pickup of my trashcans. They are in front the night before, spaced 3 feet, and no obstructions. Are they blind?

They are responsive. Rates go up faster than inflation.
They pick up the garbage regularly with minimal fuss or difficulties.
This service is easy and efficient. You do have to do some prep.
They don’t fully empty the trash bins. Calling customer service doesn’t help either.
The CSR in the Alameda office are amazing

Lazy. Didn’t want to empty our green bin, so they lied and said there was dirt in it. It was just leaves. Hire competent people.
Only the older drivers give good service (Thank You!). The new ones at ACI work hard at NOT working. …
