Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates Reviews ( 246 )

  1. So disappointed. A waste of my time and money because I don’t have the right autoimmune disorder. Would have been nice to know beforehand, instead of waiting two months for an appointment.

  2. Very efficient run office, pleasent office personal.Doctor explained all test completely Answering all my questions,so I would understand all the information.

  3. My only complaint is that I wish they would help with the referrals they make instead of just giving you a referral printout and some business cards.

  4. Excellent care. Very helpful dealing with “money grubbing” insurance companies that didn’t want to cover medicine I need to be able to walk, employ others, and pay taxes.

  5. This clinic is really good , staff is really nice and ready to assist you with what you need. Thanks for helping us out and making our office visit less stressful.

  6. Excellent treatment, doctors and staff are tops. AARA has helped me so very much with my arthritic problem. I highly recommend AARA. Thank you for your help.

  7. Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates, P.C. has been fantastic so far. I was in soooo much pain “just out of the blue” and finally received a diagnosis and some relief. Thank you.

  8. I have been trying to cancel my appt which is scheduled for next week. I’m assuming the phone has been taken off the hook for the last hour because I am getting a constant busy signal. Rather than being charged for a late cancellation I am going to WRITE to them to cancel! This is no way to run a practice.

  9. I,m very happy to be treated by Dr. Loomer.
He explains your symptoms and options for treatment.
I’ve been treated by Dr. Loomer for about 3 years now and will highly recommend him.

  10. As she always is, Dora was very attentive and personable. I appreciate her professional attitude and attention to my needs. She is an asset to the practice.

  11. The people that they have there are rude the medicine that they gave me almost killed me last night and I haven’t been able to get it them on the phone rude staff terrible service and I have a chronic pain condition so now I just sit here in pain not wanting to take the medicine they gave me cuz I had bad side effects from it

  12. I hadn’t seen Dr. Chohan in a year. She remembered me and in fact, obviously had reviewed the chart. She is both professionally business like and caring, also.

  13. The wait time is terrible. I’ve had 4 appointments – each time I arrive early as they request and the doctor keeps me waiting 45 minutes to an hour past my appointment time. When he finally comes in, he starts to review my case on his computer. VERY POOR SCHEDULING.

  14. Sadly, the doctor was very dismissive of my symptoms, disrespectful to my GP and quite simply, rude. I’m sure not everyone has the same experience as I did but I can’t in good faith recommend this place.

  15. It is a very busy office and difficult to have a conversation with the doctor outside of an appointment. If you miss the phone call from the doctor, it is very time consuming to get ahold of the doctor.

  16. Felt very brushed off. Went in for review of previous lab results, the doctor didn’t even want to retest to see if it was a false positive. Felt it put my health in jeopardy unnecessarily, am now seeking a second opinion.

  17. I can’t say enough about AARA, P.C. I rarely feel pain from my RA since I went on Simponi infusions. Additionally, all of my experiences with AARA personnel and patients I have met have been extremely positive.

  18. Unfortunately, I was unable to make an appointment at this clinic due to the financial officer saying they do not take my insurance. The insurance in question DOES pay for their services, I checked with the insurance provider. There were …

  19. The office is clean and you can tell they take care with COVID. Everyone is nice and the care by nurses and doctors is great. I appreciate their help very much.

  21. Office staff was friendly and I was checked into the appointment quickly. The medical assistant / nurse was professional. The wait in the examination room was approximate. The doctor answered my questions.

  22. Dr Swarup and her office staff have been taking care of me for the past 8 years. I am thankful for their caring and compassionate nature! I literally owe them my life!

  23. Before, the customer service was absolutely terrible. There was one office staff lady in particular who was consistently rude but I haven’t seen her my last few visits. I’ve noticed the got additional staff that are much more friendly and helpful. I’ve changed my opinion about the office as well as the rate here on my review.

  24. They are super slow answering phones which makes them not so good on communication. They also continue to pester me me with doing reviews on them as well. How about fewer voice prompts and options on calls and then just hire some people to …

  25. Dr. Swati Bharadwaj is always pleasant, thorough and professional. My infusion nurse an excellent phlebotomist. Prescriptions are handled promptly.
They’re good at what they do!

  26. Most efficient and considerate care team for anyone seeking medical assistance for any arthritic/rheumatological and autoimmune issues! From the front desk to Dr. Eric Peters and the amazing Patrick in the Lab AzAr has been incredibly responsive as my Psoriatic Arthritis medical team for many years.

  27. Seems AARA forgets it is treating a human being with a disease. Patients should always be “consulted” not directed at for treatment. When a partnership is absent, you’ve lost the patient already. Most websites I visit are explicitly clear: …

  28. Reception staff are pleasant, appointment times are prompt, and the Doctor is always pleasant and does a complete assessment. Questions acre answered. Information is shared with my other physicians as expropriate.

  29. I am seasoned retired doctor. To treat the whole patient a doctor must possess certain “bedside manner” skills that transcend his or her medical knowledge. Such a doctor would be called having the “whole package”. If you find such a …

  31. Very friendly staff. Dr Chohan was prompt, soft spoken, kind and her instructions and advice were on point. Very satisfied with her as my new Rheumatologist!!

  32. I love my Rhematologist Dr. Bhardwaj! I have seen many Rheumys in the valley and she is by far the most caring and empathetic one I have come across. I have referred many friends to her as well. I gave 4 stars because it can be difficult to get an appt although they have daily cancellations.

  33. I love Dr Ramina Jajoo! I waited 6 to 9 months to get into her halfway across the city for my first appointment and they have an office on 40th St. and Bell and I live on 40th St. and Greenway. I still drive to 57th Ave. and Bell just to …

  37. Dr. Swarup is a listener. Someone who doesn’t dismiss your issues with a quick word or two and then on to the next patient. After 12 other doctors I finally was wise enough to find Dr. Swarup who promptly gave me a diagnosis and began …

  38. Dr. Loomer is GREAT. Very down to earth type of person. He does a thorough exam, explains best options. Does not make a patient feel rushed, answers all questions. One thing I really appreciate: his use of language that I can understand, not medical phrases that I have no knowledge of. I have recommended him to other friends.

  39. I missed an appointment so called to reschedule. I talked to two women. The first one was short (probably just busy, I get it). The second one was snippy, rude, & impatient. Practically scolding me. Going somewhere else so I can get treatment for the freaking PAIN in my joints. Nice job lady.

  40. I first started with this group while living in Prescott Valley, and loved my diagnosing doctor. After transferring down to a Phoenix location I have experienced a severe decline in my treatment. My doctor is exceedingly dismissive of all …

  42. Just a machine for people who need or want infusions for RA. They offer nothing else for any other forms of arthritis and don’t care. Insurance infusion money racquet. No personalized care or options. You don’t need infusions bye bye.

  43. Worse doctor ever. I’ve been going here for years and seeing Dr. Ralph Bennett. He does listen to me and has not helped me. I have tried to see someone else in the practice, but they will not allow it. Before i moved here i was treated …

  46. I think it’s getting close to 10 years that I’ve had Dr Peters as my Rheumatologist . He’s caring and compassionate, turns complaints into solutions. Dr Peters cares about the whole person, I never feel rushed.
    Plus: He always looks sharp!

  47. AZ Arthritis and Rheumatology provides excellent patient care for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I receive my Simponi Aria infusions in the office, and the infusion staff does an excellent job. Dr. Ralph Bennett, M.D. cares for me well.

  48. The Mesa staff is amazing. I have an infant and was going to have to return later in the day for an x-ray. The X-ray techs, Stan and Tim, were able to see my need and they squeezed me in. The awesome phlebotomist even watched my infant so I could get the xrays. Truly an amazing service.

  62. Dr. Bennett is a very good listener. He is astute in handling my questions and allays my fears. I am grateful fo the help of the Physicians’ assistants, as well.

  63. The nicest staff of the doctors I see. (Many). Plus very competent. Dr Bennett has several time identified a problem that nothing to do with osteoarthritis. 75. My experience with Dr Eric Peters and Nurse Practitioner Dora Quan has always been positive. Both are thorough and good with their questions about my chronic illness. With that being said, my reason for a 4-star rating is because the telephone answering “system” used by the office(s) is not efficient.

  76. I’ve been going to AARA for 6-7 years now and have always been treated courteously. They have really been there for me since my first appt there. I already I had a diagnose of fibromyalgia, and at the time couldn’t see them perhaps as much …
