Great place to work!
bad company to work for.
The best
Amazing place to work with great benefits.
Great company to work for. Amazing benefits and fin work environment.
Quick and easy
Was treated pretty badly over the phone, and have since had a poor experience with the customer facing employees.
Worst company I have worked for. Horrible experience from day 1.
Their testing is the caliber of a dollar store pregnancy test. Good luck with these guys, you WILL need it.
I had a very positive experience donating blood and will do it again at ARUP by the U of U!
Refused to bill my insurance company. They advised me I’d have to get a bill and send it to them myself.
Giving serious thought to suing them for lack of integrity. They fail to fulfill their oath to do no harm.
This is the best reference laboratory in the US, from quality to Customer Service to price to you name it. Working for them is unlike any other company with the benefits you receive.
Been working with ARUP for a few months now, and I have to say Carsen in MID has impressed me immeasurably. Good job!
Rude, very unhelpful, they charged us twice for the same bill and they couldn’t “find” it even though it clearly stated that they took out the money from our account twice. Absolutely ridiculous.
Worst company to work for. If you want to experience favouritism, stress and less pay,you can join this horrible company. The HR is the worst
Very bright and talented organization working together for high quality patient care. Caring and exceptional attention to patient care makes this company stand out.
Very dishonest company. They’ll claim to be in-network so that doctors will send them blood samples. But they ignore the contracted rates from insurance companies and just charge whatever they want, usually 5-10 times the national average.
It is definitely the best place I have ever worked for because of it is a very employee-oriented company. Very accommodating. They take care of you which is why their employees take care of them.
Most unprofessional customer service experience I have ever had in my life!!! I even requested to talk to a Supervisor by the name of James and he was even worse!!! Talk about a condescending prick!!! They gave me the run around and have …
Quality testing and very fast to get results. Huge test menu too. I guess all that automation really speeds things up. There have been hiccups with my testing but they have the best customer service of any lab and they’re always improving. Highly recommend
Poor company to work for all good employee incentives were put in place by the previous CEO Dr. Kjeldsberg and the current CEO is bleeding the company dry and running it into the ground. Company used to care about there employees but now …
On Sept 10, 2021, I visited University of Utah General Hospital Laboratory to have a blood draw for a required test my doctor prescribed. …
As a physician on the other side of the country, I had a great experience with their service in getting the results of a patient when my own hospital could not. The woman was extremely helpful and helped in my patient care.
I am a physician employed by the University of Utah. I do not recommend going to a University of Utah lab for any blood work that is urgent. I had two blood draws at different locations (Farmington and the University hospital). Both were …
I received a bill for $120.30 but the description only states “BALANCE FORWARD”, I have no idea what this is for, no date of service or description of services, nothing. In addition: there is a note saying “your insurance carrier has …
If I could give this place less stars I would. Working in customer service was an absolute nightmare. Any employee who tells you otherwise is blatantly lying unless they enjoy micromanaging, call after call, poor training, being overworked …
Poor hiring experience. HR and hiring panels don’t know what each other wants. They leave you hanging with no response on status of a position after doing multiple interviews unless you call them. Hiring panel are typically millenials who …
I’ll start this review by noting that I donated with ARUP in the past and also work for the U of U hospital. …
I have been an employee for ARUP Laboratories for over 16 years. They are a very well run business/laboratory and they strive to meet everyone’s needs in sample testing and customer service. I work with some very amazing people here and …
I received my first bill from ARUP March 2021 and now it is May 11 and they’re already sending me to collections when I’ve been paying on my account since I received my first bill I’ve been receiving threatening letters every day. my …
Stay far away from this company. Lots of conflicts of interest associated between management and subordinates, unrealistic productivity expectations for technicians (you have no rights) and Human Resources is absolutely, positively useless …
I got a bill wanting payment. It said the bill was denied by my insurance. It does not reference a service date, no procedure, no doctor… nothing. …
You over work your technicians, the turnover rate is ridiculous for technicians in these departments because of how badly you treat them. They quit right after orientation it’s so bad. These lab are under staffed and workers are exhausted …
Highly recommend! Excellent, solid company that’s still growing. Amazing benefits. They match and exceed your contributions towards retirement and continues to help you if you leave. Medical insurance is the best I’ve had. Onsite free …
Work with this company as a tech and was terminated for time fraud. I had turn a mispunch form but the lead that I had did nothing. He also almost got me fired before xause he wasn’t fixing my attendance.
I love working for ARUP! Great company and benefits. I have been working here for 4 years and don’t want to be anywhere else. Great career choice, my life has changed for the greater good since working for this company (Medical Laboratory Scientist).
had a better time in the grocery store at 5:00 am with screaming children as white noise, would not recommend this as it’s worse.
Not op, this is to keep the company from hiding a legitimate review.
I know what you are thinking. “ The pay isn’t that good but the benefits are …
Used to work here. The corruption with upper management and having HR in their back pocket to protect them but not the other workers was staggering. The feeling of being manipulated and taken advantage of and then be gaslit by them was …
