Barbourville Utilities are a joke. My poor disabled Mom has internet service through them and I have to go fix the “Blink Gigabit” once weekly! The customer service representative’s are rude and sorry. I have a few choice words for them but let’s keep it at PG Rating.
Want internet? Look elsewhere. Xbox One, when we download a new game it takes hours. It kills the internet when you do so. You can’t do anything until the download is done. Same problem when updating software on any device too. …

We pay for 50 meg and 25 mega upload. We barely get 5.85 and 835 kbps upload. This company is an absolute rip off. Ran three separate speed tests with three different sites with the same results.

I don’t think I’ve been without power for more than 20 minutes during any storm. They offer a top shelf service. Cable is ridiculously high, but good. Internet is off the hook.
