  1. Terrible customer service. Snooty customer service agents. Dont want to be called out when they are rude or wrong. Management doesn’t want to be held accountable for anything. Would never have anything in their service territory again. Oh can you say expensive. Way over priced compared to other companies.

  2. I don’t have an account with them but my landlord does. Electric out at 9:40ish called 9:45pm and had a truck out at 12:30am on memorial weekend. Ended up being a poor bluebird but I am impressed for a co-op. Thanks to the electricians who came out!

  3. We have been without power for six days ( July 18) and keep receiving calls that my power has been restored; it has not..it is now July 25. Our neighbors had thie power restored since last weekend. This has been horrible service.

  4. We’ve purchased our retirement home here and have had loss of power 15 times in the last 8 months to the point that we are considering putting in solar or a whole house generator. And of all of the times the power has gone out, only once …

  5. Not sure why all the negative Nancy’s reviews.. But baron electric has always treated us well and get power back on asap once we notifiy them. And it’s not very often and we’re far from town.

  6. Anyone that complains about Barron electric needs to check the facts. The lineman and everyone else works hard to keep the power on and doing it at a low price. Some people just love to stand on their soap box and complain.

  7. They service a large area, countess homes, billions of trees that usually cause the outages, Relax ppl, it’s the Northwoods, trees fall= power out… Simple logic goes a long way up here. Your powers out? Chances are many others are too, it’s a systematic reboot, patience young Jedi’s……

  8. I missed a payment due to an issue with my bank and they were very gracious and helpful. They gave me extra time to make the payment and were very understanding. Whoever gave the 1 star reviewers bad service years ago must have been let go, I’ve had nothing but good experiences!
