I called in to make a payment, and the employee who answered (I beleive she said her name was Paulene) was very rude and unhelpful. I try to give this company my money but instead I actually get insulted by their employee and nothing got done. Terrible experience, kind of ruined my day…
Installed outdoor outlets and a 220 line for our hot tub. Reasonable prices and got it done quickly.

They have chosen to shut off power to hundreds if not 1000.s of customers of Benco for 5 hours tomorrow. During a pandemic when all businesses have their employees working from home. I’ll bet they r making a lot of friends in the mankato general area. Maybe par. Never heard or seen such a move. Best of luck
After this last storm a couple days ago and power outage, I appreciate Benco even more than I did before. They’ve always been quick and responsive to outages and this last one was a BIG one! Thanks for all of your hard work. Too many take electricity for granted!

This company has poor service. My bills were outrageous and when I inquired about that being odd compared to other electric companies, they were rude and sent me a nasty email pretty much saying I’m stupid. I believe they charge much more than Xcel Energy and will never use BENCO again.
