Went to benson emergency last night. Every person from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctor to the person giving me ekg to person giving me chest xray were excellent, very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

I was vacationing in the area and Benson was the closest city to receive any medical. The staff were very friendly and the doctor was professional. I didn’t have to wait very long for pain meds or for the tests the doctor had ordered. I would definitely recommend the facility and a special thanks to my nurse (Angie).

10/18/20 Checked in at 620 pm, 640 pm still sitting in the waiting room waiting for someone to acknowledge we were even there. 645 pm decided we could make the 35 mile trip to Sierra Vista Hospital and be seen quicker.

The care given here is competent if a bit slow. I was very surprised not to have my medical history taken using a standardized form, or even a verbal interview. The nurses and doctor didn’t ask me about it. It makes it hard to be sure that what I told the nurses about my health conditions was communicated to the doctor.

I have been at the Benson Hospital ER twice this month for heart related issues and all the staff were great! I really appreciate having this hospital so close to home. Being a retired R.N., I can say all the staff are professional and all the proper tests can be done at this hospital. Excellent care!
