Do not see Dr. Merten. Her staff is terrible. Especially her nurse Harmony. Dr. Merten is impatient and rushes you.
I’ve been going for six years now which is a testament to them keeping me alive. Dr. Mallidi and her team are so kind and caring. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Zero coraboration between Radiaton Dr and Oncology Dr. Doctor’s do not review patient files before appointments. Not impressed at all. Go to a hospital, and not in Roanoke, that has expertise in treatments of cancer or be disapointed, frustrated, or worse.
Appointment at 1430. Here it is 1520 sitting in the waiting room while my father is bleeding from his nose and mouth. Let’s go people. While the receptionist flirt with the delivery guy, begging for dark chocolate.
Very unprofessional. We had a consult this morning. We get there on time no one to check you in. Didn’t call and tell us they decided to open late. Also didn’t tell the other cancer patients from out of state.
Dr. Kochenderfer and team were literal lifesavers after I had a rare but terrible reaction to my chemo treatment. The team acted fast and because of the decisions Dr. K made I am here today. Cancer is awful and the staff at BRCC always make dreaded appointments better. Beyond thankful for the care I have received.
Should have sat down with the patient and family first to discuss prognosis before calling in HOSPICE. Instead of sugar coating scans, how about being honest and respect the patient and family?
