Customer service is the worst
Customer service has deteriorated since BCBSWNY was acquired by Highmark. Calling customer service now results in endless waits. I will likely switch to IHA next year. They still seem to care about their subscribers.

I am extremely disappointed that a signature if now required to receive a shipment of my medication from a specialty pharmacy. I work full-time and cannot be home to sign for the delivery. This change went into effect in February. Blue Cross BlueShield of WNY is more concerned about money than customers.
Needed a rapid test. When I got to the provider I was told blue cross was actively blocking people from getting the rapid test, even if they want to pay out of pocket. True story. Wish work offered IHA
