Worst hospital ever. The doctors suck and are not helpfull at all.
Best place for medical care they have a great team good staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone told me this hospital was horrible but, they had warm blankets!
I had both my kid there and my sister had my nephew there and be love it.
Working out of town and stepped in a hole and broke my foot, they were wonderful!! Now back again working a year later and my boyfriend has a toothache and they are just as wonderful this time!
I just met the coldest ER doctor in my
Entire life
Didn’t even do an exam …
I’ve been to Boone County Hospital a couple times and can appreciate how great the facility is and the competency that I saw from the staff. Thank you Boone County Hospital!
This hospital is worthless they screwed up so bad with a laceration, we ended up in mary greeley the next day with a severly infected foot and they had to undo everything boone did. Plus the doctors are incompetent and dont show no respect and give no after care instructions id rather die driving to ames than go to boone again.
If you are in need of medical attention, drive the extra 15 miles and go to a real hospital. …
After a car accident, I asked to go to the BCH, didn’t think about Ames. From the Emergency Care through the overnight stay, the PT instructions, to checkout, I received competent and professional care. Very happy overall.
Boone County Hospital has great service, especially in the OB ward. The times I have had to go as a patient and/or a guest have been pleasant. The staff was patient and willing to answer questions. Great place. Great doctors.
My family has a chronic illness that this hospital has not taken seriously. My brother has died,my sister has died my nephew just had open heart surgery and niece has had a stroke .again my neice went to the ER and they basically told her …
. The nurses that took care of her where rude! The Aid was a C*nt to say it nice. Then the weekend 1/19 came and my mom felt happy. Her nurse was sweet and the aids took care of her with a smile. The night time was not good they refused to …
This hospital rocks!!! I was accidentally pepper sprayed and had to go to the emergency room. They were absolutely wonderful to me. The doctor who saw me (unfortunately I don’t remember her name, just her treatment of me) was absolutely …
I have been there recently for emergency care, radiology, and a clinic visit. I found the staff to be professional and I received quality care. The facility has been updated in the past few years – facility itself and the equipment. More …
I was seen in the ER for a health scare. Dr. Sheffler and the nurse who took care of me were both so kind, answered all of my questions and put me at ease. Dr. Sheffler was down to earth, personable and made sure to keep me informed of the tests I would be receiving and my discharge plan. I received excellent care.
They have the nicest staff and the best attitudes. I know they are short staffed and I want to Thank Each and Everyone of them.
I was very pleased with the Care I received and would recommend them to anyone.
God Bless All of You.
If you can just drive down to Mary Greely in Ames. This hospital is at best an urgent care center. I wouldn’t even call it that because I would have had better service at an urgent care center. I took my 2 month old in because he had a …
Rude nurses, plus they don’t know how to wear a mask, but expect
you to do it correctly.
Sunday, I went to ER in Boone from Jefferson. They did a Covid Test. Unfortunately Positive. From the minute they came out to the car to get me Until I left, they treated me with the utmost respect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Had fantastic experience through ER after a skiing accident this past weekend. Kathie, Michelle, Pam, and Dr. Stilley were fantastic and made my experience as pleasant as possible. They were all friendly, accommodating, and very kind. Thankful for their help and expertise!
My family is so grateful for Boone County Hospital. We get wonderful care every time. In bigger hospitals, a person can feel like a number. Here, the staff is smaller and there aren’t so many different nurses and patient care techs rotating on the schedule. This allows for relationships to be built and highly personalized, quality care.
I will never go to this place nor take my mom here ever again there were 3 different instances where my mom came home with sepsis and had to go back to the hospital as soon as she got home!
If I could give no stars to the hospital I would. Pretty much all of the doctors, nurses and the patient care techs are worthless. I would take my chances with a veterinarian then 5he Boone county hospital or their clinic.
This hospital is run by a bunch of crooks. I pay off bill after bill after bill just to have another sent to collections without receiving a SINGLE courtesy call. I have about as good insurance as you can come by(State) and somehow they …
From the moment you arrive, the front dest has no understanding or emergency. You could be bleeding out and they would take their sweet time. Nurses are very short answered and slow. They would rather sit in their computer area with two …
Took my son here for sudden onset of a debilitating headache and vomiting, as s healthcare professional i know this could be something bad. They give him no meds for pain, some anti nausea meds and sent him in his way without anything …
