Boone REMC maintains over 1,186 miles of line serving rural areas, suburbs and some of the largest employers in the greater Boone County area. When you purchase electricity from Boone REMC, you are not only a valued customer, you are a part-owner and a member of a utility cooperative. We are governed by a nine-member board of directors comprised of Boone REMC members.

we have more services fees then actual usage fees. completely absurd! because of their autopay malfunction, Boone REMC already charged $25 fee TWICE for not paying on time! no notification nothing!
The only thing they are good at is keeping the power on….we have done everything to lower our bill over the winter and somehow the warmest damn month of the year was over $100 more than the coldest month….there really aren’t any good words for this nonsense

I want to thank whoever came out in the middle of the nice on Friday to restore our power after we had an arc. My husband called when the power went out and it was restored within 1/2 an hour! I appreciate whoever was on call (and their family) for the quick restore!
