If anyone one remembers Mayberry….this is Akron. The chief of police grew up in the town. The mayor is a wonderful man. Look at any growth map of the future of Lancaster County…you will notice that Akron doesnt change. Living here …
We have an awesome police force! It is great to see them on 272 and around town. When a tree fell during a storm on some utility lines near our house while I was away from home, they were on it immediately. One of our Akron officers called the fire department who came and removed the immediate danger.
