I’ve seen an elderly husband walk in saying his wife his having a stroke and the receptionist respond with “fill out the forms, then someone will be with you”. Payments are also a hassle to make. Their online payment as well as over the phone payment sites did not work.
Just got discharged and my husband is still throwing up I told them it was his gulbladder but they didn’t listen and came up w a different name for it they gave him meds and he threw up while I’m the hospital and then again when he just got home don’t recommend this hospital at all
This facility is understaffed to meet medical needs for Sierra Vista residents. Quality of care is below a “1” standard. All persons I talk to recommend driving to another city (Bisbee, Benson, Tucson) to get medical care.
I think it is really a poor management decision to build a larger and newer hospital but can’t provide quality healthcare and still in 2016 have to refer patients to Tucson. Smaller towns in the U.S. have one or two hospitals and don’t have to refer to a larger city. What a shame and waste!
This hospital has lied, blackmailed and tried to bribe its patient’s. They have refused medical care and refused all avenues of help on top of lying in the first place about pursuing those avenues. Go to Tucson, Bisbee, Benson, ANYWHERE but here.
Husband had a shard of metal in his eye, 5 hrs waiting, he told the nurse (on personal cell 15 minutes and holding fluid for eye) to please do her job. 6.5 hrs later were now told to wait for “discharge instructions”….? We walked out. Can imagine how much this will cost insurance
Horrible hospital. It looks very nice but I got treated here 4 different times and all 4 times it took HOURS to be seen, even when they were not busy! The doctor was in and out of my room within 5 minutes and rushed off.
I have been treated terrible there. They miss diagnosed me twice. I had to go to TMC. If you like to wait for hours, deal with rude people, and get sent away without being treated then this hospital is for you.
I went to the E R at canyon vista and had a terrible experience. This place needs to be of a higher standard. The staff perhaps is simply acting like they are clueless in their ability to be effective. If this is the case give them an Oscar award.
