Waited 4 and a half hours to be seen, sat in the room for 2 and a half hours only to be told that they can’t do anything for me. Thanks for wasting my time. Glad I wasn’t in critical condition.

For their surgery department A++. The er is horrendous. Have been here 4 hours and am still in the waiting room. It was not that busy. I have been passed up a few times due to complainers.

I went here after a scuba diving accident on holiday and the service here was amazing and everyone was so kind and while I was alone waiting for my family it was very pleasant to share a chat with the nursing staff.
I have said this before and I’ll say it again the ER evening and night shift need some direction! Whoever is in charge needs to rework those shifts they are so inefficient.
Well, they saved my daughter’s life. I guess that’s pretty good. Couldn’t ask for much more I reckon. I’m pretty satisfied with that. I thought they were top notch myself.
The absolute worst hospital around go to Newbern if you need emergency care. If you go to carteret plan on it taking at least 5 to 6 hours just to see a MD.

I had my daughter at carteret. The upgrade to the building is beautiful. The facilities were very clean, the staff super friendly, and the overall experience was amazing.
Excellent facility where the staff consistently display a patient-first mentality. Everyone was very welcoming and knowledgable, willing to educate me along the way. I will definitely return, when needed
I don’t know why people say such bad things about this place. They’ve saved my life twice and staff is always nice. Just had surgery and they even called to check on me. Very clean and love that they have a Starbucks.
Women at the emergency room check in desk was extremely rude!! If you are going to be rude and have an attitude you should not be working with the public. All I did was asked her for directions to the south entrance.

Careless, Despicable, overly dramatic emergency room staff. Don’t waste the time here? There’s a reason they have a short wait time, and it’s not because they are good.
Retired firefighter paramedic went there thinking I was having AMI. Staff showed no urgency, 12 lead ekg done with me sitting in a chair in triage area by paramedics who placed leads poorly. Over all not professional and very poor customer service!

I had to go to the emergency room and everyone was so nice and thoughtful and really took their time to explain things to me and even asked me if I understood everything. This is an awesome hospital and it is always quick!
I was quickly attended, and was given my diagnosis in less than two hours. I’m extremely grateful that I was taken seriously, and not made wait 6+ hours… unlike Carolina East.
If you have spent anytime in this hospital and have anything bad to say then you might have been the problem these people go above and beyond absolutely top notch thank you to all of you there I hope the Board sees this you should be very proud of your staff

I brought my daughter in around 730pm. We sat in waiting room for 4 hrs before being brought in the back. I went here after a scuba diving accident on holiday and the service here was amazing and everyone was so kind and while I was alone waiting for my family it was very pleasant to share a chat with the nursing staff.
I have said this before and I’ll say it again the ER evening and night shift need some direction! Whoever is in charge needs to rework those shifts they are so inefficient.

My visit was very well done. My colonoscopy was done by Dr. Marson. Each person I encountered was wonderful. I would like to mention nurses Debra & Cindy. Also the anesthesia team and OR team. They listened & helped out with nausea and reflux. Although I cannot remember names the ladies in the surgical room were the best.
Very friendly staff. I was there early for an MRI and had a very limited wait. Plenty of parking and assistance in finding my department for the procedure. You will need a special paper mask (no personal clothe masks accepted). The hospital was clea. And quiet, bright, welcoming and friendly.
