They take excellent care of your loved ones. (First hand knowledge of 2 very close family members)
I had good CNA’s n Nurses they had very good food it was very clean n it was a nice tranquill place to b for recovering. But that was like 6 yrs ago.
My mother went to rehab at The Cedars.
Recovering from back surgery she needed pain medication and two hours later they told me the nurse is “at lunch” and she will come in when she gets back.
I asked where are the other nurses? What if there was an emergency?
“I just returned from Independence Way at Cedars. My recovery was easier because of the great nursing staff, physical therapy dept., and the TLC given to me by every member of the staff. The spacious accommodations were much more …
Was there for ten days. The staff that took care of me was amazing at all times. Place is Super nice and Super clean.
My problem was with therapy. All of the therapists are very knowledgeable and …
My mother was sent to Cedar Crest for PT and to heal, following surgery for a fractured hip. Unlike many of their patients, she is a “young” 69 years old, very active, independent, etc, who generally is healthy and vibrant. However within …
The staff is amazing!! Nurses, CNA’s, receptionists, social workers….all very compassionate while caring for my dad and the entire family. My brothers and I have been dealing with various skilled nursing facilities and hospitals for a …
I gave it some time and this is actually a great place to put a loved one. The nurses just don’t want to be sued for you not wearing a mask and leaving sick. It’s understandable, I thought I was being harassed but they were just following protocol.
This may be a beautiful clean facility but you’re not going there for a vacation . Most of the nurses & CNAs were nice , except for the one who over medicated my mother and put her in an oxy stupor for 3 days!! I was floored, and never got …
My mother had absolutely the best of care while during her stay there. He absolutely loved all of the staff and even when it was her birthday they made arrangements in the big room with the piano and we had a beautiful birthday party for my …
My mother and sister were admitted to Cedar Crest with injuries recently. Although most of the staff are wonderful workers/caring people i.e. James, Benny, Norma, Adeka other names slip my mind (with a few exceptions one being Haley), we …
Most of the day staff were good. Night staff had a lot to be desired. Took forever for someone to answer the nurse light. We waited 25 minutes for someone to take my cousin to the bathroom. Then I had to get someone. Her roommate fell …
Within hours of moving in to Cedar Crest for a short term rehab stint, we knew we needed to get my mother out. …
This place is terrible. They are very neglectful. We asked them many times to shave my uncle, cut his nails so he wouldn’t scratch and cut himself, and make sure he was hydrated, which is so basic to anyone’s health, let alone a 94 year …
I see how many one stars this place has and I now know why: they don’t care, they are poorly managed, staff is neglectful and absolutely rude. They don’t even talk to my dad on the rare occasion they enter his room; they don’t even …
