Center for Digestive Disease Reviews ( 36 )

  1. Tried to setup an appointment – this office does not appear to know how to do this and their systems to requests appoints do not work. After 3 days of trying, I gave up.

  2. Been seeing doctors and taking tests all summer. Mystery pains. Paid $167 for Doc to talk to me for 30 seconds and tell me “come back when it gets worse.” Ouch!

  3. Very bad service. Did not get an estimate of the fare when I went there. Saw a bill of $189 (after paying $47 in the office) for 2-3 minutes with doctor. My worst experience in any medical office. Would have given 0 stars if it was there.

  4. Rude front desk. I was waiting in front of their window for 7 minutes to be checked in. If the receptionist couldn’t check me in right then, then she should’ve asked me to take a seat until she could. The doctor is great, but I will not be returning here because of the front staff. Please improve!

  5. Horrible! Dr. Singh is so rude and not helpful! He was very ugly to my mom! All this place will do is take your money, and be of no assistance! Do your job and try to help people, not screw them over for their money!

  6. The staff is rude, and the physician is no better. All the service we received was a mockery of my wife’s weight. Not what you expect from a physician: who should be creating a respectful relationship with their patient’s.

  7. I had a colonoscopy with Dr. Makam. The staff were wonderful and guided me through the process. Dr. Makam was excellent. The procedure went by so quickly and painlessly. I would 100% recommend Dr. Makam and this facility.

  8. I am an employee at center for digestive diseases. I started as part time employee but loved it so much that I decided to work full time. Dr Singh, Dr Makam and Dr. Pritchett are wonderful people to work with. I am planning to work here till retirement.

  9. I have been with this practice for many years and have always been pleased with the staff and doctors. I see Dr. Makam and he is excellent. He is patient and doesn’t rush you. He is attentive and does everything he can to help with problems. Great doctor and overall good practice.

  10. The doctor was very creepy so I am not having a procedure here. I have tons of other male doctors who don’t give creepy vibes. Only went here because another doctor referred me. You have a choice of which doctor you go to.

  11. They are very nice when you are in office on appointment. But good luck trying to contact any doctor or their nurse in case you need, it is “impossible”. They post closing time at 4:45 pm, but even front desk stop answering phone at 4:30 …

  12. Dr Makham suggested I get a colonoscopy at the same time as my endoscopy. He saved my life! Even though I was only 48 he did not treat me like a number, all other doctors said I was too young for my insurance to pay for my colonoscopy …

  13. Very, very pleased with Dr. Singh and his staff. Colonoscopy performed on Halloween morning, forgot to wearv my costume😊😊😚would highly recommend this center to family and friends. Thank you Dr. Singh and crew, for such kind care. …

  14. The two stars are for the front and the nurses. Dr. Singh was the worst doctor Ive ever seen. He dismissed me, was rude and didnt listen to me. It was “no its not that, its this. Im right, youre wrong.” Well I went to a new GI and …

  15. My wife went to Dr. Singh to find out what was going on after being referred to him by Wake Med Hospital. Totally unprofessional and showed no care or compassion towards helping my wife get well. How do you get so complacent that you forget that your job is to help people?

  16. I went to the Center for Digestive Diseases/Cary Endoscopy Center for a colonoscopy. They were extremely thorough with all medical preparation and financial information before the procedure, very kind and clear on the day of the procedure …

  17. I have worked with the physicians at Center for Digestive Diseases and Cary Endoscopy Center for many years. They are professional, caring, and wonderful. The current staff is committed and constantly trying to bring improvements to create a good experience for patients whether over the phone or in person.

  18. I had an excellent experience at CDDC on all fronts. I find this to be rare and I was very thankful to have found them! Dr. Makam was awesome – very well-versed in the field, took me seriously, got me to a diagnosis that has changed my life …

  19. Highly unsatisfied with the care received. We had multiple procedures and CT scan performed weeks ago to confirm or not confirm a chronic diagnosis. We’ve left multiple voicemails over the last 4 weeks with no call back, desperate for …

  20. When the Doctor was talking to me, another man walked, smiled pleasantly, probably an Intern, but the Doctor never introduced him nor said why he was there. It was awkward. The Doctor does not have a good bedside manner. Will not go back. I do want to add the Staff there were great.

  21. I have been going to Center for Digestive Diseases since 2013 and see Dr. Makam. I have been treated for a myriad of GI issues over the years and I have always had my symptoms taken seriously and I have always been treated with kindness and …

  22. I had a colonoscopy here on Friday 8/14. The staff was absolutely wonderful and professional from the check in to the prep and the procedure . The 2 T Team in the prep were so pleasant and explained everything Considering what I was there …

  24. Went in for a routine colonoscopy, getting the appointment was easy, everyone was nice and procedure was painless. My only issue, and it’s a big one, is that I was sent home with someone else’s discharge instructions including their …

  25. I had a wonderful experience with the front desk, nurses, colonoscopy staff and Dr Sanaka. Dr Sanaka is kind, caring, and wonderful. Dr Singh nurse who is covering for Dr. Sanaka is so sweet and helpful. She got me samples of medication and always followed up with my request.

  26. I see others have written about negative experiences and I wanted to share that I have had a very pleasant experience here. They were able to get me in very quickly. I go to Dr. Sanaka and he is always very kind, listens, and is very …

  27. Dr. Singh and his staff is absolutely fantastic from the time I’m greeted until my departure. I’ve been a patient since 2019. They are so caring and making sure I understand everything that is happening and I’m comfortable. Not to mention Dr. Singh is funny. I would recommend them to anyone who ask.

  28. Doctor Singh and his staff are wonderful. He is kind and thorough. He was highly recommended by a friend and I highly recommend him as well.

  29. Horrible follow-up. Still waiting for to hear a followup from my doctor visit 9 days ago. I called and spoke to a nurse after 5 days and she said she’d talk to Dr. Singh. Never heard from her. Dr. Singh did nothing during my visit and …

  30. Went in for a routine colonoscopy–referred by my primary.
They communicated very well and clearly beforehand about prep.
They were friendly while I was there, and the procedure went very quickly. …
