Central Pediatrics Reviews ( 59 )

  1. Been going here since I was a baby, haha I stopped going here when I was 19, I also stopped going because a pediatrician said I looked like I had gained weight and had look like I had a baby recently. You are doctors, I get that you’re trying to help, but body shaming literally is bullying.

  2. Wait times are crazy long for wall ins on the week ends, during the week it is much better. However, once the wait is over the Dr. and nurses are friendly and helpful.

  3. I used to bring both of my children here. The providers are excellent. Unfortunately every time I have gone recently, I have waited for over an hour to be seen. We will not return

  4. So lucky to have Dr. Pettey. She takes the time, she is thorough, and she so kind. An excellent provider that is extremely knowledgeable and well respected in the field. She goes the extra mile and we so appreciate her!

  5. Dr. Khoury is great! He’s very thorough and knowledgeable. I also appreciate the time he spends communicating with me and the kids. The clinic is clean and staff are responsive.

  6. I love the staff! The lactation consultant was so helpful and our doctor is willing to spend as much time as we need answering questions. Great place to take your kids!!

  7. Very poor customer service. I came in with my son for evaluation for possible fracture of his thumb, no empathy, nothing. Really? In this community of competitive healthcare businesses, I can’t fathom you don’t train your staff to be courteous to your patients. Never coming back!

  8. We just switched to this clinic. Based on our first experience I would recommend it to anyone. The whole staff was so kind. And efficient. They were very understanding when I had to take a phone call. Great with my kids!

  9. I recently switched my son to this clinic and absolutely love it! The staff is friendly and actually act like they enjoy working! All of the doctors I’ve met are super friendly, incredibly helpful and really know what they’re talking about!

  10. Doctors and nurses were great, however I’d like to see more compassion from the front desk staff. Yes I understand coughs are common, but we came for a CHRONIC cough and we were all exhausted from weeks with no sleep. The staff member made me feel silly for coming in for something so “common”.

  11. We took our daughter into see a doctor about possibly being prescribed tamiflu for our daughter. Normally we would go see our family doctor but because it was the weekend, we went to urgent care instead. Once we saw the doctor, she stated …

  12. Becareful who you see. I do not recommend Dr Esdal. Brought my son in for a rash and I’ve never had a Dr say ” ah oh um well maybe” I left and had to bring my son to a dermatologist. Called to talk to Amy clinic mgr and nothing she could do with the charge. Feeling very disappointed 😞 …

  13. Recently I took my daughter there and Dr. Strong was in such a rush, she didnt even talk properly. After that my daughter got reaction from that medicine, I called doctor, she never responded back, nurse called and said bring her back, they just rip you with big bills. Poor customer service.

  14. We have been seeing Dr. Strong since our daughter’s birth 15 years ago. Dr. Strong is compassionate, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She has personally called our home as follow-ups to our appointments and concerns. She addresses our …

  15. Ridiculous. Their urgent care is probably fine for ear infections and strep throat, but don’t go here if you don’t know what it is. My daughter went in for a rash and the doctor ran several unnecessary test, all coming up normal, …

  16. No Diagnosis report …Nothing just bills sent to home from Dr. Laurel R Anderson . I spent around 4 hrs waiting and they did many tests for my daughter who was suffered with high fever last year December. No proper guidelines from the …

  17. Please don’t go here, the clinic rips u with bills by putting Office visit charges for even a routine annual preventive care visit. And those office visits r not covered by insurance plans now a days. So if you go for an annual preventive …

  18. Doctor/nurse administered the wrong vaccine to my one year old child. Admitted they mixed her up with the patient next door. We will never go here. There are plenty of other great options in Woodbury.

  19. Child was having cold symptoms – elected to get covid test. Test was administered in Roseville. I do not say this lightly as I have had great experiences with all providers – but Dr Nathan Messbarger is wonderful! His explanation of the procedure was calming to my child. By the end of the visit – my child was literally laughing.

  20. They do not thoroughly diagnose your child. Took my son to urgent care and they didn’t do any test and shrugged it off as a virus. Took him to his pmd and they ran tests and figured out what was wrong. I even tried pushing for an X-ray and …

  21. The receptionist made me feel very uncomfortable when she asked me what race my child was, like that mattered. But my guess is they wanted to check it off so that they can show proof they have people of color visit their clinic too. Nice …

  22. Brought our daughter in and was told that she had “a cold and that a virus like this takes about a week to go away.” This would had been acceptable but the doctor did not even examine her before giving her a diagnosis. I asked about her …

  23. This place has been a great and trusted clinic for our two daughters and many of our friend’s kids. Lots of top notch pediatricians who are also active in the community and truly care about your kids. Interesting seeing all of the petty one …

  24. This place is awful. We were forced to travel all the way from St. Paul to Woodbury, paying nearly $40 for an uber only to arrive for them to tell us that the doctor wasn’t in. Then the receptionist lied and said they left a message …

  25. We have been to the clinic with our six year old daughter three times outside of wellness visits. Two of the three times we have ended up at Children’s hospital shortly after. Both ER visits likely could have been avoided had the doctors been more thorough and thoughtful when examining her.

  26. Don’t bring your children here. I brought my daughter to be seen here because she had a high fever. The doctor spent a few minutes with her, did a strep test that was negative and said she probably had a virus and sent us home. Her …

  27. I have been going to central pediatrics for almost 20 years (you can go there until you’re 21.) It is great to still get care there while I am in college, I don’t have the stress of finding a new doctor while in school. I have seen Dr. …

  28. We love Central Pediatrics! Our two children have always received wonderful care here. We’ve seen many of the doctors, who all have been very caring, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Huberty is our main pediatrician and she always takes …

  29. I brought my son in when he was having issues with wheezing, congestion, and coughing. I wasn’t able to get him into his regular pediatrician and this clinic saw him right away. The nurses were very compassionate and the doctor was very …

  30. Avoid this clinic at all costs. I had a physician provide a prescription with an error, giving my daughter double the recommended dosage of her medicine. The physician is now being dishonest about how she handled the prescribing error. No …

  31. I had an awful experience, went there for the first time to get my toddler checked out, doctor literally told us to hurry up on putting him on the table because she had other people waiting!! Very unprofessional, since she saw us for less than 5 mins.

  32. I have been going to central peds for 3.5 years and absolutely love them! I have 2 boys and have seen just about every doctor at one point or another! They all have been so fabulous!! Our primary, Dr Anderson, is amazing!! She is …

  33. Been bringing my kids to central peds for years. Roseville location. Always a pleasant experience. However, Woodbury location is ridiculous. Brought my daughter in for a night appointment & sat for over an hour waiting to be seen. I could …

  34. My first experience was not great, the provider rushed me through the visit and downplayed my concerns. That was about 3 years ago. However, since then we have since seen multiple other providers and have been very pleased with our care! Doctors are engaging and personable and do their best to make the kids comfortable.

  35. I’ve been going to this clinic for 2.5 years and would recommend them to anyone. All of the doctor’s I’ve worked with have great bedside manner and clearly love and understand kids. I’ve used them for general wellness visits, walk in …

  36. I love Central Peds as an option for my kids. When you call for an appointment, there are minimal hold times and you get to speak with a real person right away. They almost always have a same-day appointment, and the medical team is extremely friendly. Dr. Bragg specifically is great! I know I can rely on this place.

  37. I have taken my kids here for years because the staff is great but they have timing issues that have never been resolved over the years. Here is an example of the most recent visit but there are dozens just like it from my years with …

  38. Have have nothing but wonderful things to say! We have gone here since the time my daughter was born (she’s now 7yo). They are knowledgeable, attentive and caring! They have always been patient and gentle with my daughter. Now that she is …

  39. Most doctors are amazing there, but avoid Paul Melchert. Worst attitude ever, he wouldn’t let my 4 year old son use the bathroom when he politely asked too, and I am assuming it is like this with other kiddos as well. While making us wait, …

  40. I am 20 years old and have been going to central pediatrics for as long as I can remember. I do although remember a specific time when I was 18 years old going in for a check up without my parents and I had a woman doctor (don’t remember …

  41. Would not give a flu shot to one of my sons without being seen there by a doctor. In other words, they wanted to charge my insurance hundreds of dollars so they could give him a free flu shot. I’ve been there with my other kids, won’t be going back. Greed > protecting kids from the flu, I guess.

  42. A great reputation for quality care doesn’t matter unless care is provided. But when money is more important than providing necessary post hospitalization follow up care for 2 yo is shameful. Demanding hundreds of dollars cash in advance …

  43. Multiple horrible experiences with this clinic. Office staff are incredibly rude and act like you are doing them a disservice when you bring a sick child in. I’ve recently had a billing discrepancy that I didn’t agree with. I was told that …

  44. Too many bad experiences. I’ve waited an hour to be called back with a crabby, fussy baby, just to be told they checked me out instead of in, and when I was finally seen the nurse was rude and crabby and complained at me like it was my …

  45. I can’t tell you how much we love this office! All the staff are so caring and friendly. The front desk ladies are so sweet, all the nurses are very friendly and caring, plus every doctor we have been seen by has always addressed all our …
