Save CWA!!
Horrible customer service
I neber had a problem
Can we pay on line the bill
They are just rude, It’s horrible!
Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with, ever.
when you call their customer phone number, every time have to wait at least one hour!!!!
Took me 45 minutes to reach a service representative, for 5 minute question! Terrible service!
People are do disrespectful and not willing to work with young all. Just basically trying to get thru the day
It’s impossible to actually speak with anyone unless you want to wait on the phone for more than an hour.
Thank you for supporting CRC Watersheds
on hold FOREVER to verify I bill I already paid. Got tired of waiting, this place is a joke.
Difficult to reach customer service. Used Emergency number out of frustration.
I’m reporting CWA to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
Trying to see when my bill is due .with the mail so slow tried calling .customer service is a jolr
Inconvenient service. Tried to turn on service, told to be home which is a vacant house, but they don’t tell you when. You have to wait for the whole day.
All i can say is i wish there was another water company around. Everything about them is terrible, specially there Customer Service.
Absolutely terrible and they don’t care. They have nothing to lose with their bizarre rules. Another perfect example of what lack of competition leads to.
I was call to get my acct.No no answer wanted to pay bill by phone
Why are we financially supporting this dishonest, disorganized, and unreliable company by paying their scam artist water bills and also using our tax dollars to bail out a bankrupt company that can’t even stay in business in the first place?
When your the only one in town they hold all the cards.Alot of people forget about there bill.Since u pay every 3 months.Maybe they should go monthly .
absolutely the worst. Constantly sending termination notices for bills I paid months ago – some even twice.
Have been on hold for more than 45 minutes and have not spoken to a “CUSTOMER SERVICE REP.” yet for a mistake on cwa’s part. …
Just when I thought there was no worse business than Comcast, I encounter Chester Water Authority. They are the poster child for why businesses need competition.
No bathroom in the waiting area, talking to people through 8 inch blast glass, and horrible waiting time for simple questions with no real direction. It’s not hard, it’s a water bill, but Christ, get my name right on the damn bill
I have been to that office to complain about a sink hole in front of my property for last 4years and nothing has been done. I pay my bill on time every month, so you would think I would get better service than this.
The folks running this business should be embarrassed. Like others, if I could give them a lower rating I would. Unfortunately they are the only water service provider in the area, so I’m stuck dealing with their nonsense.
Had to call these people 4 times, I was transferred to a voicemail once, sent to a completely different company once, was hung up on once, and now I’m on hold again… Hoping for water finally. Total time in hold so far, 2 hours. Worst call experience I’ve ever had in my life.
I had an emergency so I called the emergency line. All it is an answering service. I’ve called numerous times only to to be told “all we can do is send a message and we’ll get back to you” in a nonchalant voice. The regular customer service is non existent. I wish we didn’t have to settle for this.
The City of Chester can do better in 2021 ! You are not able to get a live person to talk to. One has to navigate their way to their website and write out their inquiry. I wonder how seniors and other ppl. get their questions answered if one has limited access to the internet?? The City of Chester can do better in 2021.
Worst water company I have EVER dealt with. Still closed to the public, website out dated, can’t see my bills online, can’t talk to anyone on the phone.. what a JOKE.. hope Philly water takes over soon!!!
They really shut me off for $1.35. In January 2 weeks after I paid the bill . A. DOLLAR.THIRTY. FIVE. And Im STILL waiting for them to send me a recovery password. The supervisor couldn’t even talk to me just waited 5 minutes and they got mild mannered Brittany to call back.
The Chester Water Authority customer service is the pits. There is absolutely no one there that can help you with your concerns. When I asked for help with a bill the guy gave me some song and dance why bills do not get posted on time when …
Can’t count how many times my water has been turned off by stupidity on the part of the Chester Water Authority. Then you call them and they don’t know what happened. Most of the time you can’t even get through to the customer service. …
Its never a problem when i go pay my bill. Workers are always cordial and professional. Also for me i be in and out each time. Never had a long wait to pay my water bill or delcora bill.
If I could give them a -100 I would. No one can tell me what is the proper protocol for not one single problem I had in 2 years. They do what they feel like no matter if you pay your bill or not. It’s like they have you by the balls unless you move out of the district
I have been a customer of CWA since 1986, never have had a problem and you can’t beat the quality of water & the rates. #SAVECWA
SAY NO TO AQUA Also, some of these recent negative reviews are from people who don’t even live in this area.
We didn’t get a bill until 6 months after moving in, and we received a huge bill because there was a major leak underground. Unfortunately, the leak was after the meter, and we were responsible for it. If they had had sent out bill …
Not possible to give a lower rating. Too bad. I have 2 men with a SHOVEL poking around well inside of my rental’s lawn “looking for the meter”. Weird how THEY install it, THEY send a bill for it and THEY don’t know where it is. They also do …
I live in Chester County and some of my water in Oxford Borough is comes from CWA. I’m very pleased with the quality of my water. I’m also happy with how well CWA has maintained and managed the Octorara Reservoir, which is only a few miles …
After reading reviews i was so nervous. But they were amazing. Customer service lady was sooo sweet an helpful an the tech who came out to turn our water on at our new home was absolutely friendly. Thanks for making this an easy switch.
The engineers are dense and do not listen to customer demands. The inspection and construction departments are unresponsive and can not be relied upon to show up for appointments, and I’m not talking late that day it’s more like two weeks …
Think it’s A disgrace how these credit card plastic companies including the banks want to charge you a $2.75 charge just to pay a bill whether it’s online or by telephone or at one of the service centers. it’s ridiculous what all these fees …
Predatory business practices. They now have the power to put a lean on your property for any amount, and they have no problem doing it. After a leak they turned off my water and demanded I pay a high bill that I was sure could be resolved …
Was hold for over 30 minutes one day, my place “in line” did not change once. They are charging me for over a thousand gallons of water usage in a month in a house that is not occupied. I called back to try and get an answer, waited 25 …
Just got of the phone with a customer service representative and all I can say is this water company is a joke! I’m moving into the Brookhaven area and this is not welcoming. I purchased my home 3/28 my electric and gas was turnt on then. I …
GREAT COMPANY. , THERE RATES ARE GREAT
After 45 minutes of trying to register for online payment, I gave up. It SUCKS!!
Needed to call with a question regarding my bill. Someone very nice immediately answered and helped me with my issue. Took exactly 5 minutes from beginning to end – could not imagine dealing with this issue with a larger organization. When I lived in Newtown Square my water company was Aqua and they were a nightmare to deal with!
Just moving into the area, I had a problem with a water leak that resulted in me having to shut off my water. I called the water authority and spoke to Ms. Dukes. She was very kind and thorough in the questioning of my issue and had someone come out later that day to help resolve the issue. Thanks to all.
I’ve always had a good experience with customer service here. They are so much more personal, helpful and efficient than other PA water providers. Whenever I’d call for new service, water line addition or to address simple issues, they …
