They are crooks. Want 29 each month, when no electricity is needed and if you disconnext then re connect in less than a year they charge you 29 for each month service was off and a reconnect fee!
Extremely overpriced electric. Easy for them since they are the only game in town. Will be moving this spring to a far cheaper utility company. I feel sorry for those who will continually be gouged that I leave behind.

Citizens Electric should not be supporting Ameren’s LimestoneRidge Project. This project is not necessary and would use eminent domain to destroy many of East Perry Country’s heritage family farms and harm tourism by scaring the scenic countryside of Frohna and Altenburg.

Two weeks ago, i would have given a scathing review. But, they finally came out and fixed a leaning pole that was causing a power line to hang dangerously close to my roof. I am very happy to have the pole fixed and no longer have to worry about ice or wind storms. Thank you.

Very expensive per kWh. Certainly the most expensive and we have owned homes in 11 states. Minimal residential support or incentives for solar or other green energy. I will add that we do have very reliable electricity with all the storms we get though and that is the only reason I didn’t give them one star.
