It’s ok if you only have a minor injury but you are far better off just driving the 30 minutes to Mercy, where you will get the correct diagnosis and treatment the first time around. I had a heart attack and didn’t remember much about anything. But When the ambulance arrived at the ER they had everything ready to go got me into the cath lab within seconds, dr. Best saved my life. And all of the nurses and aides were very professional and helpful I couldn’t ask for any better treatment than I got there.
My husband has been seen at the ER twice, twice the same Dr has told me to take him home and call hospice while his primary Dr says no. The ER Dr is rude and showed no compassion to me or my family and certainly not my husband. He talked about him like he was not even there.
