  1. Horrible hospital went in at 1pm to emergency didn’t get seen till almost 8pm didn’t assess the problems correctly all they do here is throw pill prescriptions at you (this is my experience) if it’s an emergency do not ever go here you’re …

  2. Will never come back to this hospital ever again this is the most horrible hospital Ever they rush you into getting blood work and knowing I have a needle phobia and hate getting blood drawn I refused it and ripped the blood pressure cup …

  3. Very unprofessional.. Very rude staff.. Not very gay friendly. Just blew us off like nothing serious was happening. I will never come here again.

  4. I’ve been her for 3 in a half hours and they have not talked to me nor helped me at all I’m vomiting and have chest pains and they haven’t helped at all

  5. My dad was there from Thursday-Tuesday and they didn’t bathe him ONCE! Dirty hospital and lazy nurses who sit around on their phones

  6. This hospital is a joke! Do not go for any reason whatsoever! Find another ER or place to have surgery or to have a CAT Scan done. EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING about this hospital is the worst in the medical industry.

  7. This place is the absolute worst. I do not recommend ever going here unless you absolutely have to. Go to any hospital in Louisville over this place. They will probably send you to Louisville anyway.

  8. The er was not that packed my son was running a fever he was just miserable Took forever to get a room he already got his X-ray he was waiting to get the COVID test done n I wanted to get done there n they sent us home like why has to call the er n they told us to bring him back

  9. Staff is friendly and helpful. Care is excellent, both as in-patient and as out-patient. Easy access to registration, labs, imaging–all near front entrance.

  10. As I write this I’ve watched 2 staff members standing and chatting in the emergency room. I don’t know if there’s some rule that lets hospital staff stand around and chit chat but it shows the lack of professionalism here.

  11. There is a nurse wearing a shirt that reads “treated not seated”. I’ve been sitting in the ER waiting room for two hours, and am about to walk out and go to Baptist Floyd.

  12. Wife is in the hospital for appendectomy tests, we both have emphysema with me only having 50% of my lung capacity functioning, the hospital is demanding I wear a mask inn my wife’s room to hell with my lung issues, a violation of the …

  13. Got a call today to cancel both of my procedures next week because they’re having staff issues and won’t have coverage. What kind of hospital doesn’t have coverage!? A place I know I won’t be taking my family to!! 😡😡 …

  16. Clark Memorial Hospital is an excellent healthcare facility. They helped me feel so much better after an acute asthma exacerbation. I highly recommend it to anyone with health care needs.

  17. Son went to hospital for the birth of his baby there was a nurse who seemed to be in charge she was very rude very unprofessional most of the other staff nurses were awesome when you go in you’re young for your first child You should have a …

  18. Had x-rays done. Wallpaper peeling off in x-ray for years now. Hospital is in need of a major renovation throughout. If the facility is dirty and in disrepair, makes me wonder about the type of care.

  19. Would have rather went to floyd er room lies says they take patients by pain scale and never ask the patient how bad there hurting sitting in waiting room four hours watching druggies go first don’t come here plenty more close by to choose from. Triage employees are a joke.

  20. My mom had to go to the ER waited 4 hours to be told 6 weeks bed rest for a herniated disk. No pain medication. WORST HOSPITAL EVER. All the nurses and doctors treat ER patients as homeless drug addicts. If possible go to Floyd Memorial.

  21. They about killed me. I had multiple blood clots no dr would touch me took them 4 days to decide i needed higher level of care. The nurses and techs where nice . That’s about it.

  22. Go to Clark Memorial if you are curious how hospital visits in third world countries go. If you value your or your loved one’s lives, don’t go near this place.

  23. Not to be trusted. Go elsewhere please! You’ll be seen; you’ll be treated. Treatment may or may not be accurate. Most residents of that area prefer Floyd County or Louisville hospitals. Cause too many families heartache, mine included.

  24. Thank you, so much for taking care of me, earlier today, I have PSTD and I had a bad anxiety attack today. Thank You so much, my❤️♥️ goes out to everybody that took of me. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 …

  25. After reading other reviews, I’m asking myself why did I bring my dad here. Now I know!!! Slow slow slow claiming they’re busy. Waited 1 hour for transport to get X-rays, now on hour 3 since X-rays with no kind of explanation. So frustrated.

  26. Everyone was pleasant.. mostly…but the doctor was a moron..My stitches from oral surgery got infected & the office was closed for another 2 days so I went to Clark Memorial..Doctor told me there was no infection, it was a dry socket, & …

  27. I was informed the rays showed I had a dislocated knee. Was given a brace also. Followed up with my orthopedic doctor. X-ray’s were clear, had a Mri clear. It was my back causing my knee to hurt. I will only go to this hospital for non emergency procedures. I’m scared of this place.

  28. What hospital holds a patient in ER for 18 hours before transferring them to a room?? Terrible communication between staff & pt. Hospital is in need of a complete remodel. Very dirty & outdated.

  29. Discriminates against homeless. Security guard on at 4:30 even admitted to never have I been so humiliated. Walked out by 4 security guards telling me I needed boots in because of the rain

  30. WORST PLACE EVER THE FOOD SERVICE IS AWFUL THE FOOD STAFF ARE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. PLUS BEEN 2 DAYS NOW WITH NO TV SERVICE. THE NURSES ARE GOOD BUT THE FOOD SERVICE PEOPLE ARE VERY RUDE. IF YOU WANT BETTER SERVICE GO TO Baptist at least they have people who care over there

  31. Had to visit the OR last night. I was treated so well by every single person at the facility. Your OR staff is wonderful. Everyone from admissions to recovery was a pleasure to deal with. I was nervous and scared but there was no need, I was with caring professionals. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

  32. Really having an issue with one of their departments in terms of communication but some of the people who work here are the best of the best. Real heroes. The woman I spoke to in billing has such a good head on her shoulders and was able to keep me calm while legitimately addressing my concerns.

  33. Hospital is sub-standard. Nurse aids work over 8 hours per shift. Requested clean gown for my son numerous times, finally asked for a gown at the nurse station and the staff at the nurse’s station did not know where the linen was kept.

  34. It was open when the kentuckiana one and so many others were closed (midnight). I was so grateful for it but the equipment in here is clearly dated and everyone seems overwhelmed and understaffed. Floors dirty, overflowing trash cans and I …

  38. It was the ABSOLUTE worst hospital in the USA. I was discharged after 30 hours no better when EMS dropped me off. I would have been better off seeking healthcare in a 3rd world country. I spent a day seeing the nurse only 3 times

  54. As someone that’s generally kind and tries not to be a bother to workers, terribly rude staff. I’m stunned at how uncaring and annoyed most staff you encounter here are. You can also hear them talk badly about other patients. I’ve literally never left a review before but I felt I had to because I’m so appalled.

  55. I went to the ER because I had a temp of 103.1 heart rate of 139 and my left breast (under it) was hurting very bad. Well the dr at the sent me home saying I had the Flu. 😒…well I went back the next day because I knew I didn’t have the …

  104. My wife Sara copeland is a loyal, dedicated care taker who takes her role as the EEG department lead as if she had ownership in the hospital group. The past 12 years this woman takes care of her clients with passion, love and care. I’m so proud to call her my wife but also the team she works with. They are the best.
