Customer Service Today I had absolute the worst customer service experience in my entire life with 1 customer service rep and a supervisor, Pathetic been member since 1994
They have constantly sent bills late, have poor customer service and apparently I have an account that I didn’t set up and can’t access. I’m looking for another company
We have had so many problems with them. They say they record calls and they dont. They have the worst attitudes. If I had a choice to change power company I would.
It’s like clockwork! Every time the wind blows, the power goes out. Here’s an idea, get out of the freaking Stone Age and bury your power lines! How can the power go out so many times in a residential area and you all not getting a damn clue!
I’ve lived all over the United States and this is by far the worst company I’ve had to deal with as far as utilities go. Zero accountability and more outages than I can count.
Had Elmhurst when I lived in Spanaway & then moved to South Hill & was very happy they were still my power company. When there’s an outage it’s fixed promptly. Thanks!
I agree with those having their power disconnected, mine will get disconnected the day I receive the notice. I have had this happen at least 3 times. Make that 4 times! Got notice 5/2 for disconnect 5/3. I’m glad no one is on oxygen, but screw our life for their money hungry buisness
Pay your bill on time folks. This is the best and cheapest power company in the state. PSE and TPU are far worse. I hope I never have to move out of the coverage area!
Cheapest around.. Will work with you BEFORE you are past due, after that it’s all on you. But if you pay your bill on time you are actually saving 100’s each yr compared to other power companies in the area.
Some of the lowest cost electricity in the United States They work very hard to control their costs and pass the savings on the their customers. This is a customer owned utility.

When I first bought my house they charged me for the previous owners usage. They have been charging me over $300 a month for a 2 bedroom house. My last house was 5 bedrooms same city and I paid approx $150 a month with PSE. This is crazy. We should get a choice to use PSE or not.
I’m unsure why there are so many negative reviews. Elmhurt has always been very affordable compared to other power companies and when I call during business hours, they have someone who picks up the phone to provide help rather than going through an automated system. This level of service isn’t offered too much these days.
Been with this company for 20yrs and they have been alright in my book. Unsure what all the bad reviews are really about. Only complaint would be when I was mailing my bills in the time frame for late payment was a bit touch n go.
Middle of winter and during Covid pandemic cut the power off. Literally paid the bill within minutes of them shutting it off at 915am and they say I gotta wait until 530pm for them to put it back on!!! Next year……solar panels. Then they can pay me!!
