This place is terrible. I mailed a check 2 months ago and they claimed to have never received it and that their policy was to cash checks they receive the day they receive them. So I paid online. They turned around and cashed the check today, 2 weeks later.
I’m trying to set up eBilling. I’ve left voicemails, requested a call back. No one has returned my requests for help.
I thought I knew what poor customer service was but this takes the cake. No IT support, closes early, no automated balance updates, and sometimes they dont send the bill. Amazingly bad.
Company says their time is at 8:30am and I have called over 4 times and nobody picked up. The website says 8:30am and when you search on google it’s 8:30am. So what is the real time that they are opened?
Garbage company, way too many fees and charges. They encourage you to switch to paperless billing and the charge a transaction fee of 3-10.
I’ve used EMS services at a mall I managed and now with a new portfolio of properties. They assisted in collecting a large balance from a tenant and have always been very responsive to any issues that arise.
Before moving into an apartment complex, ask them who provides their heat/gas utilities. If it’s EMS, don’t live there! It’s an antiquated company that doesn’t even have autopay available.
The absolute worst company ever. Terrible customer service. Billing is inconsistent and messy. I question the integrity and legitimacy of this company.
I have personally worked with them on three properties I manage. They know exactly what they are talking about and got my power metering systems back up and running in a timely fashion. They are a great company to work with and valuable resource to have.
EMS has been an invaluable partner addressing all our energy management needs in our portfolio. EMS provides excellent customer service, has a quick response time, and is allowing us to focus on other more important operational matters. Would recommend their services to anyone with energy management needs.
The customer service is excellent! Rick Miller in account services goes above and beyond to get things done. All issues are quickly resolved and the customer service reps are always pleasant on the phone. My expectations from this company are always exceeded!
The rates are outrageous. My bill is around 70 dollars despite the fact that I leave my home around 7:40 am and return at 8 pm and usually I am outside during weekends. I use LED light still they over charge you.
It’s amazing that when there is a power outage apartment complex wide, there isn’t an agent to pick up the phone and no way to report said problem if it doesn’t fall into there very limited hours. My bills are fully paid and yet no way to reach the company during this emergency.
EMS wants you to sign up for paperless billing but they still charge a service fee to pay on-line. What is this 1995? You can’t call them because NOBODY answers. Leaving a voicemail is a joke.
