Family Medicine of Michigan Reviews ( 55 )

  1. I’ve been going to FMOM for years now and I’ve never had any problems. They’ve always been receptive to any requests i’ve had and the doctors have been great. I’m sorry to see other people have had problems with FMOM, but I sure haven’t.

  2. Absolutely miserable to try to call. Why woukd u make it so hard to call into a doctors office? Youre a family doctor, not nasa. You arent too good to talk to your patients.

  3. If I could give this place zero stars I would. “Dr” tracy has been very unprofessional and rude during the 2 encounters I’ve had with her. If you must go here, I would avoid scheduling appointments with her.

  4. STAY AWAY! I cannot emphasize this enough. DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this practice for more than 20 years. I always thought it was a good practice (but honestly, I wasn’t really familiar with other practices). Until my last medical issue I …

  5. Love this office! I have always been treated with respect and knowledge! The providers and the office staff are caring and try to help me. Recommend to family and friends!

  6. Don’t EVEN BOTHER trying to establish as a new patient here !! After calling, going into get all paperwork and signing release forms was told we would hear back in a few weeks. Seven weeks later I call for an appointment and they say it …

  7. I am very happy with my doctor and the staff is very caring, Dr Paine is a wonderful doctor and has addressed all my health problems and set me up to get them all taking care of and i love it here.
    God Bless You All 🙂

  8. Filled out new patient paper work only to hear back 4 months later that I wasn’t excepted as a patient. Despite having great health insurance and being in decent health. No explanation. Thanks for wasting my time!

  9. I been going here for two years. I called receptionist to make an appointment they said said “I can barely hear what you’re saying” so before I even wanted to try and get a better signal for them to hear me they just hung up. Completely rude, fire the receptionist.

  10. This family practice is horrible! I have been with them for many years until I seen other doctors in this facility things went unbelievably went wrong so as their staff…. I had to fight for my prescription for a week!!! …

  11. I have been a patient there for 39 years or more.I have always been treated with kindness and fairness. I love my doctors and their staff. I have had some pretty serious illnesses. Im pretty sure my life has been saved and prolonged by thier proffesional ability:

  12. Long waiting time to establish with a doctor, but in general i have no issues with this office. Dr. Eric Smith is very nice and helpful. And I have never had an issue to refill my prescription.

  13. Terrible at mental health care. Terrible at sending prescriptions. Awful bedside manner. Excellent at mailing bills, and extra bills, and threatening collection letters. Rot in hell..

  14. Dr. Paine is the best. She is knowledgeable, she listens to you, has a great bedside manner, and she will go over your test results with you – including the ones that came back normal. Really goes above and beyond. FMOM makes me feel like a person and not just a number.

  15. I believe there are good doctors all over the state, but this practice is special. FMOM truly cares about the well being of their patients. They are not afraid to refer patients to other practices when necessary. I trust FMOM with my care.

  16. I think that the receptionists at the front desk are worried that their faces will break if they smiled once in a while. They need to be told that receptionists are supposed to be friendly and welcoming. The office staff are very rude …

  17. Not being from the area, we took a chance when my daughter wasn’t feeling well on Family Medicine. Wow! They were awesome, from appointment set up, billing, Doctor thoroughness and follow up. They diagnosed and helped get my daughter back to her normal self. Thank you Family Medicine of Michigan

  18. Extremely disappointed with the professionalism of Dr Robin Messing on my first appointment here yesterday. She’s definitely not a pleasant person, nor seem to be the slightest bit attentive to a patient’s care. I had been looking forward …

  19. Dr. Paine is amazing. She is so kind and understanding. She was professional and knowledgeable about any question I threw at her. The staff was friendly and efficient. Thank you for all of your time and attention. I appreciate all of you.

  20. All business, no service. If you are a patient who is looking for a doctor who can take their time and attend to your needs DO AVOID THIS OFFICE. They simply aren’t capable. This is the typical modern version of healthcare that has come of …

  21. Receptionist are absolutely rude, all the time. I called the make an appointment and she told me I couldn’t make one because of my insurance even though I’ve been in before and I was confused why and I was asking questions. And she just …

  22. My doctor, Dr. Peter Miller was fantastic. However the clinical manager, management, and some other staff leave much to be desired. My son was accidentally given an adult dose of an incorrect vaccine in October. The gave him the …

  23. All 3 of my kids see Dr. Izzo. Hes wonderful! So personable and takes his time and always treats us like family. When my youngest was first born she had an appointment that coincided with a day he was gone, he made a special appointment …

  24. Horrible office staff. Since they move to their new office they have been awful. They don’t care about you, just your money. Doctors give you about 30 seconds of their time and that’s it. I have been with family medicine since 2008. Do …

  25. I’ve been coming here for years and I love Dr. Miller and Tracy the NP, however this is by far the worst front desk staff I’ve ever encountered! Everyone who answers the phone is super rude, cuts you off, and quick to hang up. They all need …

  26. Heather, the office manager/support person refused to help me with a billing problem. The billing people were short & extremely unhelpful. I will be switching primary care because the offensively rude staff. I contacted my insurance …

  27. Over the top service by staff and doctors. I’ve been a patient of Dr Izzo for several years. Dr. Izzo’s professionalism and his staff are 2nd to none. As your local Realtor, I highly recommend Family Medicine of Michigan for all your medical needs.

  28. Was a 5 star. I’ve been going there 29 years till I got a letter saying they no longer will be taking my insurance. Thanks for caring about my health so much your kicking my family to the curb. So much for caring about your patients and community.

  29. Been going to them for a decade, they always take good care of me and are particularly good with women’s health- I’ve never had a concern dismissed and they caught a few things that were a relatively easy fix but might have really made life difficult for me down the line if it hadn’t been diagnosed

  30. Very rude front office staff. Dr Izzo is a loud mouth that likes to talk to much and it’s hard to get a word in. Again front office staff is the rudest I’ve ever dealt with at a dr’s office. Zero star if I could!! They also have super lame …

  31. I attempted to schedule my 4 year old daughter an appointment who has been sick with cold like symptoms for about 3 weeks. The receptionist asked if she has been tested for COVID (we have done home tests that were negative) and if she has …

  32. Like my doctor that I’ve seen. Don’t go much, but have been on medicade for 3 years. Always go and know I need to pay for the office visit for 3 years. They never had a problem taking my money for the office call. Dealing with heather …

  33. Doctors are fine but policy’s are not in the best interest of the patient. Try getting a prescription filled that has run out before a schedule appointment if its on a controlled prescription list. Example I take two pills twice a day for …
