The Bank is awesome and their staff are Top Notch. We got a Home Equity loan and Matt Brame was very professional and very helpful for an easy process, and his staff. Also Rose was awesome setting up our new bank accounts with them.
Like the tale of Goldilocks and the 3 bears, Bay First has been the “just right” fit for our requirements. Professional, courteous, impeccable sense of ownership from day 1. 100% recommend in all aspects.
Their security guard decided to come out and harass us while we were going to Publix. Threatened to have us towed from the shared garage if we stayed too long.
Great community bank. Has been able to put together deals that make business sense but may have some details that are too “outside the box” for the mega banks.
Don’t recommend. The staff is very nice, but they don’t take their customers seriously. They have switched banking apps multiple times and don’t answer their phones most of the time. Covid made it almost impossible to bank with them. I think they’re trying, but they have a long way to go.
We opened our business accounts here after using two other banks and we couldn’t be happier. Besides the fact that they are conveniently located in downtown St. Petersburg, the staff, management and commercial lending is TOP NOTCH! Go visit them – you will find more than a place to put money – you will find Kindness and Caring. 🙂
