Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is not your typical hospital. As a specialty hospital, we provide care and treatment beyond the scope of a traditional hospital. Inpatient complex medical care and rehabilitation are offered at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. Outpatient rehabilitation is available on our Wallingford campus and at our Gaylord Physical Therapy Orthopedics & Sports Medicine practices located in North Haven and Cheshire.

My grandma stayed here in the stroke unit. It was hard to get in contact with the people who were in charge of her care. We left voicemails because you can just go to the person’s office. And it would be days and days with no response.
I’ve called three times and instead of going to an operator their service just hangs up on you. I’ve tried following the prompts and also hit 0, but both result in it ringing, no one answers, and then it hangs up on you.

They contacted my wife after falling asleep while driving. I had a rod placed in my right femur. The therapist, nurses and doctors at Gaylord helped and pushed me to walk again.
