The lines here go pretty quickly so there isn’t much of a wait time. The staff are disinterested in your personal situation, but they get the job done quickly.
Nasty, rude company. Doesn’t send me a bill for over 3 months, when I call to complain they act like it’s my fault that they never sent a bill. Idaho inbreed laws make this possible
tried paying my bill online wont let me put in debit card so called to make payment they we can’t do that over the phone explained that web site won’t give option for my card all I got was sorry they want you pay but don’t want to help
Idaho Falls Power has dedicated, friendly and professional employees who truly care about providing the best service possible. Not only is the service incredible, but the electric rates are one of the lowest in the country!
Credit department is the worse and they really dont care if you receive a bill or not you just better pay it. And dont be late because they give you no time to fix. And if you do get shut off they want everything. They are not willing to work with you! Even for a couple days.
Both my neighbor and myself gave 10ft of easement to power co. The townhome next to us didnt have to give up easement and the TRANSFORMER IS IN THEIR YARD!
Ive complained for months as im the one that keeps it cleaned up. No more! Im …
After moving out of an apartment, I went and paid my final bill, even called later to make sure I didn’t have a further bill, over a year later I get a phone call from a debt collector telling me that I owe money for this! I was blown away, …
Idaho Falls Power has always been great partner to our business, Park West Dental Care. The foresight to place hydroelectric turbines in the Snake River years ago has provided our community with clean renewable electric power at some of the nation’s lowest rates for decades.
Somehow, even though I only have one light on at a time in my house, i have never had a power bill under 250. When I call in to ask someone to come make sure we arent being charged to much, or someone isnt leeching power off us, they just …
Power goes out atleast once every 2 weeks. Phone numbers for utility contacts never work. If possible use a different company for power.
IF power is unreliable during the warmer months
Billing department (Municipal Services) customer service and communication is horrific! In the top 200 worst in the nation. Top 3 worst in Idaho.
Sad to say but Utah gives better billing customer service.😒 …
So apparently it’s acceptable for power to just cut out for several minutes every few weeks… It’s also acceptable to have your power cut after not receiving a bill or notice. The billing department needs help.
Idaho Falls Power is made up of the most dedicated professionals you will ever find. They are committed to customer service, keeping the lights and heat/AC on, and keeping your rates low. In fact, residential rates are approximately half …
After living multiple places around the country, this is BY FAR the worst service and especially customer service I’ve ever received. Don’t ever have unexpected life circumstances or miscommunication come up when dealing with these guys, …
Ever since I got my new “smart meter” installed, my power bill began to rise. Now, my power bill is consistently higher this year than it was in the last two years. I think the “smart meters” are insidious and have an ulterior motive behind …
Customer service is good, rates are decent, but their billing department is poorly managed. Been 1 1/2 months since I moved and requested my last bill. Still have not seen it, and apparently after I called and asked where my bill was, the …
I would give no stars if possible, im not even a customer yet and they have already been impossible to work with. I tried setting up our new home with power and they stated my husband has a balance from 2004 that has to be paid before …
The power plant is amazing, got to tour it. So fun and integral to our city. Amazing that we have the utilities and people right in our community. Thanks for the service and call and get a tour, you won’t regret it.
Last night (10/26/2021) at ~5:30, Mike Gose rang our bell and told us that our meter had been sending a message that they needed to address. It turns out that when the fiber optic folks came through to install cables, they damaged our main …
Every-time I have gone I have been treated very rudely. For some reason I always get stuck with a lady named Meridith and she is very disrespectful. Never asks a Single question about my information and when I try to inform her she’s …

We have it pretty good here in Idaho Falls
No complaints about prices or service. When he power goes out it typically gets up and running pretty quickly.
The worst govt agency to have to deal with. Seriously they’re worse than the DMV.

They provide primarily hydroelectric power at decent rates. Can’t complain.
Added bonus: one of the old turbines is on display outside the building so you can see it up close.
