Terrible. My wifi hasn’t been working all day and I’ve tried everything and followed steps to fix it exactly. I hope no one else gets this cause it’s terrible.

I’ve been without power for almost 6 hours with an infant in the house. I would expect them to be on top of the rural areas before the urban ones. It doesn’t seem like they are on top of anything but themselves.
I would give them 5 Stars if they weren’t bending us over the tree stump on the cost of electricity, but when the power goes out they work very hard to get it restored as quick as possible. I tip my hat to the line men.
Very poor service,,, my wife had electric service with REMC twice before we even got together one from 13 years ago and other 9 years… they all of a sudden added her past account balances from before me, to our account giving us over $800 …
its nice that they can work with you but the thing i dont like about it is that out of all electric companies i have ever been with i have never paid as much as i do now on a electric bill its crazy and ridiculous that every month i am paying $250 even when i was on the budget plan i was pay $220 thats not even right
I’ve been without Electricity since 3pm 5/31/18 now it’s almost 11pm & nothing.

Just want to say REMC is so nice when I call.They always help me.The installers and linemen are great also ..Always friendly to me and they don’t mind that I ask questions. So great job REMC love the prepaid electric and the internet 🙂 …
Customer service could definitely use some improvements, plus we have never paid as much for electricity as we do with REMC. I will say they have been decent on getting the power up and running when it goes out.
Outage for the past almost 11 hours! Nothing’s been done still and we haven’t had our fiber internet from Jackson County REMC since then. Too many wifi problems I’ve had with their fiber internet providers! RIP OFF!!
Everybody that works there is great, I’ve had them come out and cut trees down for me I’ve had them install fiber and everything they do is been done excellent they get the power back on when it’s off they just do an outstanding job thank you‘
Customer service rep was very helpful in adding us to a no spray list (we organically farm). I appreciate the freedom of choice in not being forced to be a part of the chemical use for clearing. The customer service rep did suggest posting a sign as a reminder to the linemen when they come through our area.
Was working great first few months with the 55mbps plan and I would get 30-40 mbps in my room which was fine but past couple months I’ve only been getting 1-5 mbps and it’s HORRIBLE. I would reset my router and do everything to make it better and it just doesn’t change or get worse.

Easily the most ethical company I’ve dealt with. Their Internet is unmatched- I live wayyyyy in the country and have had one issue that they knew about and were fixing before I even noticed it! Cannot recommend them enough.
Arrogant and rude contractors failed to show up on time and when was scheduled to do so and the office personnel for fiber optic was just as rude and unprofessional
I have been a Jackson County REMC Customer since November of 1993. Customer service has always been very good. I have never had any problems/issues with any employee. Their repair people are on the Job quick as possible.
I’m also an REMC Fiber Customer now.
Can not contact them to order security light. If someone wanted new service they can’t get thru the options they provide on their phone.
As an electrician of 5 years this was the absolute best service I’ve ever received for an on- off disconnect and they actually stuck around and helped! Brian was too notch super professional kind and curious and won’t be forgotten. Please continue your process as Brian was superb
I have been without power for over 4 hours. The electric is outrageously expensive yet the infrastructure must be awful as power outages are so frequent and then repairs so slow. Invest some money is keeping things up to date or some information after all these outages would be nice
