It’s disgusting how expensive they make the electric in the winter. Last year we saw prices of a couple hundred dollars A WEEK. I wish these scumbags had some competition around here.
This is the worse company ever over charged every month taking more and more money everyday for pre paid service..I think this needs to be looked into!
Jackson Energy is great. When we have storms like today and our power goes out it is back on in no time. Our monthly bills are average and are not really that high. I would recommend Jackson Energy to anyone.
My bill is higher with 6 days and still no power then when we have a full 30 days of service. Someone needs to take legal action against this company for exploiting there customers. Shame on them. Worst electric company ever.
Not helpful and rude majority of the time. Also, double what I paid with Kentucky utilities winter or summer. I have no other options in our town where we are in a rural area . Can you say price gauging? Makes me sick. We keep everything turned off we aren’t using. Price doesn’t go down when you are gone for a week out of town.

Great service, understanding employees, helpful when needed. It’s a rural electric company – there’s going to be outrages. Electric companies have no control over the fuel surcharges… that’s the public service commission. No complaints with JEC at all!
