I dislike this outfit. Although I have been with this District since 2008, paying on time every month, it still charges me a deposit. Further aggravating, I have auto pay; yet sometimes they don’t take the money and then send me a disconnect notice. A really lousy quasi-governmental agency.
I’m generally happy with the JBWD but I’m not too thrilled that my water was turned off today for 4 hours and I was NEVER ever NOTIFIED that JBWD would do that! It’s not the “turning off.” It’s the NOT NOTIFYING anyone in my neighborhood in advance that this would be done. ANGRY!
I have yet to have a decent customer service experience with this company. Been with them for almost 3 years. The women in the office have this kind of “we can act how we please because we’re the only water providers in Joshua tree” …

It’s nice when you’re water utility is invested in your safety and satisfaction. I’ve always had great customer service form JBWD, especially from Christina and Lisa. Now if we could just get the prices down a bit 😉

They are incredibly responsive and take time to understand their customer’s needs. I especially enjoyed working with Christina and Lisa. They were friendly, professional and a joy to work with.
Price is too high
No one answers the phone!
I have a major billing error and waited for 35 min. only to be transfered to voice mail.
The answering service are very pleasant. I always make the mistake of calling in on a Friday and they are so pleasant.
