  1. Do not get internet here. You pay for 3mbps download and 1mbps upload and you get 0.04 don’t download and 0.14 upload even when no one is using the internet. Total garbage.

  2. Don’t expect much The Installer only do what they want to do There only seems to be one lady in the office that knows what’s going on They try one time if it don’t work So be it Could be as simple as they have too many people on the system

  3. Exhaust all other options, even if more expensive, before settling for Kansas Broadband. Speeds are routinely below advertised and doing anything meaningful with your internet is wishful thinking.

  4. I was very pleased with the initial phone conference, and with my installation. All members involved were very polite and professional. Excellent service.

  5. Called for assistance on equipment they could care less. Ok problem arose called to speak to tech he was busy they said he call back shortly been 3 weeks no call.

  6. Customer service is a joke. These folks think you should continue to pay them when they cannot provide an internet connection. Told us for weeks there was no problem before someone finally admitted they have interference problems and cant do anything about it.

  7. The best part of Kansas Broadband is unlimited data and the friendly, responsive customer service. They always answer and immediately address your concern or problem.

  8. Please do not waste your money with this company, they are outrageously priced with horrendous service. Our internet goes out at least once a week. They always tell us that there is no known problem on their end when we do call.

  9. For those that have options… Go with the other option… And if these guys are your only provider, I’m sorry… In short their only plan that the government considers “broadband” speeds is their most expensive at 145… They liked to me …

  10. Very, very pleased with our service. SO happy that we cancelled satellite tv and went wireless. Now our programs aren’t interrupted by rain or snow and we do not miss commercials.

  11. THIS INTERNET IS THE WORST. It is completely unreliable, upload and download speeds are everywhere. You don’t get anywhere near what is advertised. Many other companies offer a lot faster speeds for way less. Most times I can’t even load …

  12. We live in the country near a tower. For country service they do good job of providing service. Obviously if I lived in the city, the service I receive out here would be just OK. The only complaint I have is that they don’t offer 24/7 customer support.

  13. Currently paying for Ultra, which is 5.0 Mbps download speed, and 1.0 Mbps upload speed. Ping is supposed to be a steady 50. However, our ping is usually well over 1000+, our download speed stays at a steady 0.2 Mbps, and upload speed at …

  15. The internet is good. However, customer service is awful. This weekend they have an outage, it lasts for days, if they are off for weekend, you get no up dates, then they don’t even open until 9 am! Most places are concerned enough about …

  16. Been with them almost a year and i’m not very impressed. Started out amazing compared to my old ISP but now its wishful thinking that I can get home and unwind by watching a movie or TV series through the internet because its hardly ever …

  18. Very nice people, but I have had a lot of issues with the my internet over the years. Having only 40 hours a week that you can contact them and receive service is a problem. When I have been without service for several days, I have not …

  19. We just switched from HughesNet because of the unlimited data and much lower latency (~100 vs. >1000 for HughesNet). We had Hughes for years because it was the only option, being so far out of town. …

  20. I used to live in Ozawkie and for the first year we had Century Link as our internet provider. Everyone knows that their customer service AND their service is the worst! so after a year of trying real hard, we canceled. We then went to …

  21. We upgraded our package with KBI and it has been amazing sense then. KBI is always super helpful in finding a solution to whatever issue your having with your internet. Ohhh and one of my favorite parts of Kansas Broadband is you get to …

  22. Download speeds are horrible, if I could get a faster service I would. Tech guys are good they work all weekend. If you call on the weekend, leave a message they call back and do whatever they can to fix the problem. I’d be happier with the service if could get 25 mbs, thrilled if I could get 50 mbs.

  23. Based on, have to sign up just to get information and pricing. I don’t know if it works well or not but it doesn’t seem honest to not have information available.

  24. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I waited a month for installation. I only live 30 minutes from Salina and the first time they came out to install my internet, they didn’t call me prior (like they told me they would). When …

  25. I have been with KBI for just over nine years and I am fairly satisfied. Sure, the net goes down on average of about once every five months, and sure it is slow at speeds averaging 1 Mbps for up/downloading, but so far the service has been …

  27. I’m very satisfied with my service. Over the years, there has always a been reliable connection. We don’t have outages or downtime. My son loves to game, and I watch Netflix. We are capable of both gaming and watching movies at the same …

  28. I’ve had KBI for several years and have been happy with them. Though I don’t like it when the internet goes down on the weekend and have to wait until Monday to get it fixed, I’m not going to complain since I only pay $44.98 a mo. …

  29. We live east of Manhattan and before getting Kansas Broadband, we paid Verizon a LOT of money for service that throttled back after 15 GB of use, even though it was their “unlimited” plan. …

  30. The technical support team was amazing. They took their time to explain to me what the issue was (cause I am not tech savvy) and were able to get the problem resolved. Thank you. My experience with KBI has been nothing but excellent.

  31. We’ve been customers of Kansas Broadband for 3 years, and loved the service up until a few months ago. Technically speaking, for rural broadband the internet is great! But their customer service is horrendous and non-existent as most …

  32. Constantly calling because internet is not working. Sometimes it is a weekly call. Can only access customer service 9a-5p when most people are already working. But they call during those hours to ask if you’re home to reset your radio…. No I’m working, and no my router is not burnt up every time I call

  33. Kansas Broadband customer service was excellent! Answered questions that I had and helped us to move onto the next step of finishing up healing. Thank you ladies for being amazing and understanding!
