Kitsap OBGYN Reviews ( 62 )

  1. Good luck even getting an appointment. They don’t seem to ever answer the phone. I called for three days at different times each day and no one ever answered. Very unreliable.

  2. Great quality care, but very long wait times. For me, the care is what’s most important, but if an hour long wait for your appointment is going to bother you, then this isn’t your place

  3. Office has rude receptionists. They don’t request records, as a patient it’s your job to provide them information. Takes weeks to get a phone call back. Do not recommend.

  4. I have an eating disorder and brought a letter to let the staff know. I heard them mocking me from the exam room. When I brought this issue to the office manager, she transferred me to a different doctor. This doctor refused to see me. They were discriminatory and unhelpful.

  5. I am over 50 and being seen for a very large Fibeoid that I ended up having surgery on. I am also a Dr. My experience has been awesome with Dr. Hebard and all the other staff. I would highly recommend.

  6. Long wait. Awful to be there with children. Unfriendly nurse. Surprise male Dr. really bad experience felt like a ball in a machine. The Dr was nice but then charged me $100 for a 5 minute conversation.

  7. Talked to a couple of nurses today and they really couldn’t care less about helping me out with my question. It was like they were offended that I dared to ask them anything and were happy to be rid of me. I will not be going there for services.

  8. I thought I might be pregnant so I called to get a hcg blood count done which I was able to get the test ordered pretty quickly. However, I thought I was just going in for an HCG blood count (1 draw of blood). Little was I told, they were …

  9. DON’T RECOMMEND!!!! I came in saw Dr. McIntyer only ONCE! And then she pawn me off to her medical team, never saw her EVER again and I was there for two years. I kept expressing the pain I was having during cycles and other symptoms and she …

  10. Never answers the phone or calls back. You can call with a very basic question, for example “what medication is safe to take while pregnant for headache releif?” They will tell you they will call back and take more than a day if they even call. Everything else is good but they really suck at calling people back.

  11. They don’t care I told my doctor my cycle were very painful and she said well that’s normal…7 years later diagnosed by another md stage 4 endometriosis… thanks dr. Mac for none of your help…saw her once then she pawn me off to her …

  12. I love Dr. Zapata. He is very personable, kind, and efficient. Everyone I’ve met at this practice has been incredibly nice. My only problem is that it can be difficult to get an appointment, but that seems true of most Dr’s offices.

  13. Wish I would have checked the Google Reviews before agreeing to go to this office after an ER visit. The staff were very unfriendly and unprofessional. The ARNP has no bedside manners, did not review any history, and made decisions without …

  14. Was being seen here and my first appointment never even met my ob and then my second appointment was told my baby had a growth as I was leaving and when I asked what it was they said “I have no idea what it means it could be nothing but it …

  15. I’m very satisfied with the care I get here. I love my doctor and this is the second time having her for prenatal care. During my last delivery she was incredibly helpful. Something I was not used to. Would 100% recommend.

  16. I received a call at 430pm on this Friday evening for what I thought was a reminder for an important appointment I have in the following Monday, but instead was told that as of October 1st they no longer except my insurance. The was not …

  17. Sometimes they get behind and my appointment starts later than planned (not sure how this happens, guess it could be a variety of reasons) but It doesn’t happen every time, so I usually cut them some slack. I love the staff (all pretty friendly) and Dr. Quimby is awesome! she did a wonderful job delivering my baby. 🙂

  18. I had Dr.Marriott and I loved her! I’m Hard of Hearing, she was very clear and willing to work with me. She made my pregnancy fun and enjoyable. Definitely will have her again for my next one!

  19. I wouldn’t wish this clinic in a Russian war criminal. They totally disrespect your time, do basic minimum in regards to your health and are just blatant bottom of the educational barrel. I’m transferring clinics and maybe then I won’t have …

  20. Dr. Quimby is the best doctor I’ve ever had! She is compassionate and always puts her patient’s first. She’s the best! I had a very tricky situation this last pregnancy and she was very caring, made a space for me to try for the kind of …

  21. After seeing Dr. Marriott twice I transferred care away from Kitsap OB GYN. I found her to be assumptive and inaccessible for additional questions. During my time there as I patient I needed a referral and was given the impression that it …

  22. If I could give 0 stars on this place, I would! First of all, they couldn’t even give me an exact answer to how far along I really was. Sadly, I miscarried (ectopic) and when I was showing all the signs in the beginning of it all, including …

  23. I’m pregnant with my 3rd baby and just made my first appointment with Kitsap OBGYN. I’m switching from a clinic that makes you call for a week before anyone picks up the phone and has an unfriendly/grump receptiom staff. So to have someone …

  24. I was referred to Kitsap obgyn by my pcp, I got in within 2 weeks and got diagnosed at my appt same day, first time meeting her. She fixed my birth control and essentially fixed the problem. I haven’t been in about 5 years but the only …

  25. Lori Nelson was a perfect provider, professional, quick, and polite. I am never comfortable with these kinds of appts (I’m sure most women aren’t). So, because I like her as a provider, I am able to over look the rudeness of the staff …

  26. Update: wow, I just really can’t get over how incompetent this place is. Records never got transferred to Multicare even after I was referred there by Kitsap OBGYN. Dr. did nothing to track my care for over 2 months, turns out I have not 1, …

  27. I did really like Dr. Marriott. She took the time with me. I do have horrible periods, she was kind, and set up a plan to figure out what to do instead of rushing to getting a hysterectomy (I’m 27). It does take me over an hr to get there …

  28. Dr. Hubbard is a wonderful, caring doctor. She always made me feel heard. I had a complicated pregnancy and she helped me navigate through it. However, the office she works at has the opposite effect. Post baby I have had multiple different …

  29. Love the doctors and nurses here, but the front staff admits to triple booking appointments. So you’ll wait sometimes for an hour before seeing a doctor, which is absolutely ridiculous. Expect long wait times on the phone as well, to speak …

  30. I would not recommend this place if you can avoid it. They dropped me the second my insurance changed, which I completely understand, but I was actually glad. I went here for my second pregnancy and never felt cared for or heard. Wait times …

  31. If I wasnt so far along in my pregnancy, I would switch to another obgyn office. I have to wait at least 45 minutes every time to be seen for my appointments. They know I have SPD, and sitting or standing that long causes intense shooting …

  32. I found out last November I would be moving to the area. Since I was coming due for my annual exam, I scheduled with Dr Marriott for early January. One week before my appointment, her office called and said that due to the holidays they …

  33. I only am giving two stars for my past experience with Quimby through my pregnancy. Who was amazing and so kind and caring. However, the staff at the front desk and the Nurse Practitioner are soo beyond rude. They have no bed side manner …

  34. Just not impressed with this place. Went through my entire pregnancy with Dr. McIntyre as my OB and she had no clue who I was the entire time. I get it, it’s a busy office and you have many patients so remembering everybody is hard to do.. …

  36. DO NOT GO HERE. I went here with my first pregnancy. It was highly rated at the time and being a small area I figured i would try it out. During my time I felt very rushed at every appointment. At every ultrasound they would rush through …

  37. Never been to an OBGYN before, front desk was nice and helpful with explaining what I need to do and questions to ask and fill out. Went there to start a new birth control and iud Dr. Nelson and Nurses were beyond helpful and nice and helping me learn more and keeping myself healthy.

  38. Long story short, got prescribed a birth control pill that was supposed to help ease my monthly pain. After a couple months with worsening symptoms and telling my doc, she said “I’m not sure why I put you on this particular pill, I must …

  39. I had nothing but positive experiences at this clinic. I was slightly skeptical after seeing some less than positive reviews, but I didn’t experience any of the problems that other people seemed to. My appointments were great, Dr. Marriott …

  40. I actually like the nurse practitioner I saw, but they kept charging me. I called ahead and asked for the total amount to get my IUD removed. They asked if I wanted speak to a doctor about my fertility options and I specifically said I …

  41. I was very disappointed with the care I received at Kitsap OBGYN with Lori Nelson. I went in for an annual PAP smear and to talk about my menstrual cycle and preconception (things that would usually be covered at an annual appointment). The …

  42. I used Kitsap OBGYN for my first pregnancy. I researched all the doctors there and chose Dr. Marriott. I didn’t find out I was pregnant until 18 weeks and she brought me up to speed efficiently. Her communication style and energy fit well …

  44. It could be that personalities just clashed, but I felt like they were trying to soothe/brush off my concerns rather than give me information. I did not feel confident in the knowledge and capabilities of the staff. Please seriously …

  45. I have had nothing but amazing experiences since I’ve started seeing Dr. Marriott and Claire 6 months ago. These ladies are phenomenal and never once made me feel uncomfortable or judge me since it has been a while since I’ve seen an OB. …

  46. This place is absolutely terrible. I felt like a was not cared for at all to the point that I had to switch OB’s halfway through my pregnancy. The nurses and office staff are not friendly, the wait times to even be seen are atrocious, and …

  47. The absolute worst experience with any office I have had. I do not recommend this place. The ultrasound technician was very rude and nonchalant at my first exam and made me extremely uncomfortable. Then I had my 2nd ultrasound scheduled and …

  48. Sharing my experience at this location with Dr Quimby. Dr Quimby is the best doctor I have ever had the privilege of seeing. She is professional yet approachable, and as someone who is generally flustered when going to the doctor’s, I felt …

  49. I have had the worst experiences here. Highly recommend finding a different obgyn. This is not what health care should feel like. I’ve gone through a miscarriage, and an endometriosis diagnosis here, and throughout this time I’ve experienced …

  50. I had asked family and friends who they would recommend as an OB/GYN and 4 out of 4 said one name…Dr Quimby; one was a male who had experience working along side her. I was thrilled that she was accepting new patients and the process from …
