MY BILL CHANGES MONTHLY. I DON’T SEE HOW MY USAGE CHANGES SO MUCH WHEN I AM HOME THE SAME AMOUNT EVERY MONTH. THE PRICES ARE EXPENSIVE TOO. MY BILL RANGES FROM $60 TO $100 PER MONTH FOR ONLY 2 PEOPLE. MY ELECTRIC BILL IS ALWAYS CHEAPER THAN MY WATER BILL. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
I have never dealt with a more difficult utility service than Knox Chapman. The employees and service are both very poor. Not to mention the rates are very overpriced.
Customer service is lacking; still fluoridates water – this should be outlawed; overpriced;. one person in household, on septic so no sewer, and bill is always over $30, because of their “base” fees.
The service and relationships with Knox Chapman are great. Anytime I have needed anything they have always been willing to help. Jerry Mason and Randy Wittenbarger in particular. Thanks, I appreciate it!
Ridiculous that you can’t pay your bill online without a fee. And my bill is never the same so why would I set it up on auto pay? And they change things without notifying you when you’re paperless. If there were another company I would gladly change.
I lived in Powell and used halls water.. Way over priced. I am very happy with Knox Chapman. The employees are always nice and helpfully. I am very pleased with them
The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The agents are rude and are never wrong about anything. I hate they are the only available option for water in this area.
We have lived in Knox for 3 going on 4 years. Before we bought our house our water was never over $40 with KUB, since moving and having Knox Chapman Utility it is $100/month!!!!! Our neighbors who aren’t home but on weekends 2 days a week have a water bill of $70!!!!! How is this possible!?!
No auto pay until very recently. Randomly started charging extra to process electronic payment (I used this service for several years for free). Water tastes odd (I had to add filtration). Obviously you don’t get to choose your water provider, but I’d say I’ve had better providers.
This is the worst utility company I’ve ever been forced to deal with. The service is highly overpriced. The water randomly gets turned off (3 times in 4 months), for several hours, and the employees are unsympathetic and apathetic about …
I have never dealt with a more difficult company in my life. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. They are entirely overpriced for their services and it seems they are always looking to increase prices or charge some kind …
I’m not sure of water prices on this area but I have a teen boy and hubby who I wash tons of clothes, dishes and long showers not to mention the water our coonhound, kitties and garden consumes. Our bill is consistent and seems cheap …
I have had a water leak that I have been trying to track down for months at commercial property. EVERY time I have called they have helped and given me suggestions and scenarios for possible causes. Karen in the office was a jewel! (as …
I just don’t understand why they would give you a courtesy call about your water bill and not give you time to come down and pay it and then charge you $50 reconnection fee on top of that why even waste your time on a courtesy call I mean it’s obvious it was about the $50 not about the bill payment
I have called several times since April and have always received amazing customer service and very professional. I’ve spoke to Tyler and Tamara and they have both been very helpful. It is hard these days to find good customer service and they’re quick to answer the phone and very personable. They nail it!
We used to have KUB for water and we had a leak at our old house and they took months to com out and look at it before they even called us back, I was expecting about the same turn around. …
Very rude.
Very rude
Fifty-plus years of good service.
Tyler is the most helpful in customer service but if you call and get anyone else they are inept and unhelpful and occasionally even rude.
Cutting off people’s water in the middle of a pandemic, where many are either out of work or can’t work, is pretty low. SMH.

Terrible customer service, bad attitude! Absolute disrespect to long time customers. Its a shame we can’t switch to a different provider.
