La Clinica (OR)

La Clinica Phoenix Health Center

Since 1989 we have strived to improve the quality of life for the diverse communities we serve by providing culturally appropriate, accessible, and affordable quality health care. Today, La Clinica offers high quality, prevention-focused services through seven neighborhood health centers, 10 school-based clinics, and a mobile health center. Our outreach programs provide a safety net for our most remote and vulnerable community members, and to help our community access care, we accept all insurance types and offer a sliding scale for low-income uninsured and underinsured patients. About 86,000 Jackson County residents are in our target population for medical care, and we estimate as many as 120,000 lack dental insurance or are underinsured for dental care.

La Clinica (OR) Reviews ( 34 )

  1. I like the staff and the medical treatment but I don’t like the glasswork hanging above the entrance. It looks like it could come down at any movement on unsuspected patients. You really can’t avoid it and are asked to stand under it in line.

  2. Do not….I repeat do not let anna Olsen insert any kind of birth control into your body. She will screw you up and then la clinica wont do what right and help you. Instead they pass you off to everyone else costing you a fortune. If I could give zero stars I would!

  3. Great care I see a nurse practitioner Lori H amazing Carrie spends time and listens the rest of the staff are very kind as well wait time is a little long but it’s a busy place providing good care for people in the community

  4. The only redeeming thing about this place and the reason they got two stars instead of one was because Elaine from billing was so easily able to work with me to get my payment handled. …

  5. Always kind and helpful in any of my situations. They will work with you to get your insurance dialed in and also work with those w/o insurance by using a sliding scale. My Provider remembers me and my past history which gives me piece of mind! A great place all around.

  6. They cater to the poor and that about sums up the care you will receive. My son’s father worked there so that’s where I took him initially. We were there many times for multiple issues. I will say the nurses were kind. The doctors were …

  7. I’m not sure why everyone has had such a negative experience. It did make me a bit nervous before my appointment but I found better help than I did while visiting with Providence or Asante centers. Everyone was extremely kind and doctor …

  8. Went in seen a Dr he was good. then I had to talk to office people
AND omg my skin must be the wrong color they are B****es in there the main office gal is not a nice customer friendly PERSON and I use the word person loosely.

  9. After losing health insurance 4 years ago because of Obamacare charging us over $11000 on top of what we were paying monthly, I am thankful for sliding scale at LA clinica. Without them at almost 60 years old, who knows where I’d be.

  10. I really want to like La Clinica. I admire their mission. But I am officially beyond frustrated. It is almost impossible to navigate their contact system. Sometimes you get messages saying they are closed though you are calling during …

  11. I love la clinica and the help they give me. Not indifferent or blase like other places.
Now, I’m getting my prescriptions here but my copays were higher. I showed my …
