  4. This company is a scam!! Bills look like a 2nd grader tried to figure it out. Hidden fees and after monitoring my bill I’ve noticed they are never accurate.

  5. Young lady that answered the phone was not polite at all. The guy she transferred us to also was unprofessional and very rude. I normally bank online to avoid their horrible customer service, but needed to help out a family member.

  6. So far so good. They have serviced our home for many decades and the lines stay clean and repaired from what I can tell. They have always been helpful if I call or have questions.

  7. LREC is absolutely THE BEST!! When the ice storm hit us in 2007, I was without power for three days while those using another service were without for WEEKS. Thank You, LREC for looking after us, and to the linemen — YOU ROCK!!

  8. Stay in campground. Every day i come back to my camper after work i have to wonder how much food i am going to have to throw away. For atleasy once a week my power will have gone our at some pount in the day. Makes me believe not a reliable coop. And i contract for them great.

  9. Big storm hit. A tree took out the power line. I reported through the automated system at 7pm. Called automated line a few hours later and the message estimated that work on the line would begin at 4am. And sure enough, at 4 am they were there to patch the broken line. Power restored by 7am.

Overpriced service and hidden fees for starters… had two months of bills that were double the usual bill and they told me it was the heater turning on and off….when I just moved in a new cabin and only burned wood and never turned my heater on!!!!! Sketchy company trying to go complete solar ASAP or move is the only options!

  21. i have never had any trouble with LREC. i have electricity and cable and internet. excellent service. i have had the outside lights go out and they are there very fast to fix them. even changed the old mercury bulbs to more efficient bulbs. the customer service is awesome.

  29. Many of my neighbors are with another electric company in Tahlequah and their electricity seems to go out frequently. Lake Regions very rarely goes down. Even in last years horrible storm I lost electricity only for a very short while. Thank you Lake Regions I appreciate your hard work!
