Always rude & short on the phone! I always make payment arrangements because of how i get paid but yet i have never broken any arrangements! Seems as if when i call they always have an attitude!!!! Wish i could make arrangements online without having to call!

For most part I think they do a good job. My only complaint is they should give some sort of estimate as to when power should be restored from an outage.

I wish I could get service from Duke without having to move. I pay more per kWh than Duke customers do, and I have to calculate the rate from my bill because they don’t publish it transparently on their website like Duke does.
Why do I always get the non competent electric companies with rude, uneducated service reps. Even if you are nice, they are rude. I’m calling to see about getting solar panels. I want them to have as little of my money as possible. Greed and technology… the downfall of this world

Always on time ! When a electrical storm took out my power a few years back, they had me up and running in about 2 hours. This included replacing a transformer. They are more like friends! If i were in the market for a new house, i would look for one with LEC power. Good ole’ hometown folks !
You would think the person in the drive-through would acknowledge people when they come through the drive-through instead of ignoring them and act like she cared about her job

The worst power company to ever deal with! The people are rude and they will cut you off 5 days after the bill is sent out… other companies will work with you but not this company… But we have no other options so it’s a monopoly and that’s why they treat others the way they do

I have been a Lauren’s Electric customer for 40 years, I have over the years experienced power outages for numerous reasons. LEC has always handled my outages in a timely manner. Today from the time a tree was blown across the lines due to high wind until the power was restored it was less that an hour. OUTSTANDING JOB LEC.

My power was off Christmas Eve and established to be back on by 245pm!
Well got it back on in 2 hours!
