Customer service is Absolutely Horrible I called 5 times and was on 40 minutes the first time and 25 minutes and 30 minutes Its very unprofessional 🙁 not even one star
The coal trains keep rolling into Lincoln. As such a cheap resource you think our electricity would be cheaper than what it is. This corporation only cares about profits.
The customer service inside is horrible!! Never been so frustrated. However, received excellent service calling inbound while sitting outside in my car.
Was overcharged over $250. Have reached out to customer service to no avail. Been imformed they wont do anything. These people are crooks and monsters.
And this is the problem with monopolies cant create enough energy so people in hospitals die and people die in accidents because of traffic lights good job les!!! No competition
I work for an apartment complex on the south end of town and frequently call to check averages on apartments for our residents. The staff has been very helpful and very friendly when we call and it is so appreciated.
Why do Les alway’s want to raise folk’s electrice bill up all the time!!! Lincoln need other’s company’s here to offer service to the city of lincoln….I hope that other company come in service the city.I was told by someone that work for …
Felt compelled to leave a review after seeing so many bad ones. Been a customer for 15 years and never had a problem. Not saying others experiences are invalid, just not had the same problems.
I traveled, for a month, everything was turned off, yet received a $54 bill. Called them it’s pretty much their word against yours. I have to pay for something I didn’t use.
If I had a choice as a customer, LES would NOT be my electricity service provider. They’re charging me a lot for an auto-pay mistake I made and their condescending customer service made me feel dumb about it. Way to go.
Just moved to Lincoln and I am really surprised how bad this company is in comparison to other electricity providers in New York City and Albuquerque. Set auto-payment online when opened the account and finished paying extra fees because I …
I switched over my service and they sent it to my apartment manager. I thought it was strange I wasn’t getting a bill. Then my apartment manager sends me a letter saying they received the bill and paid it, and that I now need to pay them …
I am pretty disappointed in what Lincoln Electric. Their website is horrible. It is slow, extremely limited in features, not intuitive, and buggy. It is honestly really frustrating.
It’s sad this is all Lincoln has to deal with, so you can complain all you want, but they’re going to stay in business. I updated them with our forwarding address 2 months ago when we moved…then my husband called them about something …
AWESOME job of cutting branches away from tree limb that cracked and was catching fire because of leaning on power line. Bucket truck and 2 men with chainsaws worked quickly in the pitch darkness to clear the branches. THANK YOU FOR SUCH PROFESSIONAL WORK.
Why are we not getting more detailed information on what areas are going to be affected by the planned power outages and when? I have a severely medically handicapped son who requires a host of medical equipment. Would be helpful to have this information to prepare better.
Take forever to cash your checks or loses them. I’ve sent out every bill over a week before it was due, and every time it’s been marked as late. I find it almost impressive just how incompetent they are. …
I signed up for budget billing thinking it would keep my bill at a reasonable rate. LES kept raising my monthly payments even though my usage kept going down until I had a credit of $600. At which point I decided to cancel my budget billing. LES at this point will not mail the $600 credit to me. Isn’t that interesting?
I used to live in Saunders County and Butler Public Power was so awesome and LES is a joke, so rude and so unforgiving. I was out of town due to my brother having a heart attack and they shut me off and forced me to pay a deposit due to …
Excellent customer service. Great outage map on their website if there is a power outage. Quick return to service. Virtual net metering and Sunshares are creative options that allow for solar purchases. I probably won’t enroll, but it’s good to know it’s their for others in the community.
No complaints about customer service, but as a holder of a Concealed Handgun Permit I find it troubling that I have to leave my handgun when it is time to pay the electric bill
LES is a joke and they represent Lincoln in the worst way when it comes to customer service. Overall as a company they are shady/sketchy with no boundaries on how they go about their business, and their representatives are disrespectful to …
Wanted to leave a good review for LES. Our power went out today and we reported an outrage online. They called us right away and said they would send a crew out. Not more than 30 minutes later they had it fixed. Just needed to replace a breaker on the power line. Thanks LES for your super fast response!
they FINALLY improved their website and got an auto-pay option put in! only problem is that it doesn’t work with firefox, so i have to use google.
wish they would make some sort of attempt to sell solar panels on your homes to …
cant pay over the phone, force you to talk to a robot. the automated system sucks and takes 3x as long as when you could talk to a person! when you do get someone they just direct you to a website that is a pain to make an account and log …
My power has been out for 13 hours. I get there was a storm last nigh but LES needs to have a plan in place for situations like this. I just got groceries for the whole week yesterday. I have bowls of ice, purchased at the gas station, in …
We had an issue with billing, so they shut off our power without notice and are charging us hundreds in fees and taking our security deposit. We have never received a single notice or warning. …
LES mistakenly cut our power today. After calling them to see why, they informed us that we missed the due date for our bill. I thought this was odd since we scheduled our payment more than a week ago. Apparently LES doesn’t “see” …
We are lucky to have a public utility providing our electricity. They actually want to help you spend less instead of more. And when I’ve been in hard times, LES worked with me. A private company hasto charge as much as they can, and they …
Well the Asplundh crew are finishing up with tree trimming over the power lines on 2100 – 2200 block of South 37th Street. What a FANTASTIC job they did!! Just AMAZING how FAST and EFFICIENTLY they work!! Every potential threat to the power …
I could never pay my bill, my account was lock for no reasons and could not login anymore, and I was charged for late fee all the time because of their problem. The Payee I set up suddenly now working anymore, I was charged for a different account number from the one I’ve been charged. There are all kinds of problems.
LES is one of the few utility companies where I get quick, competent service. Even if there’s an issue or error, they’re quick to address it and friendly in the process. I deal with them on a regular basis as part of my job and wish every …
Someone in security takes their job way too seriously. I have an online account and once I year I am forced to reset my password. After finding my account number, I am then greeted by a screen asking me to answer all 3 of my security …
I barely ever write review but LES is just terrible. My whole month electricity charge is about $25, city dividend and tax are another~$10, and here comes the Facility charge for $29.50 and the customer charge another $5. Like what the heck …
The women representatives are completely cold and lack any sort of empathy. Its extremely disappointing that customer service isn’t able to give an ETA of when their techs will be around to reconnect service. Every rep I’ve spoken to has …
Seems extremely greedy to charge $300 for service fees after turning someone’s power back on because they were behind. Making sure your customers never get out of dept with you and always owe you money. Money hungry company!!!
Their billing is just robbery. You can use less then 30 dollars in electricity and still have an 80 dollar bill from fees. Yet there customer service is awful. They charge all this money just to be a terrible company.
How often do you review the facilities charge? I think we are below the threshold of 800 kWh avg. per month to be a 1. It isn’t much of a change, but $10+ a month does makes a difference. That is with tax, if you’re worried about my math. …
Absolute trash
Always a smile 🙂
Thanks
Sunday
Great
Meghan rocks!!
Never talk to a human………………..ever
LES is absolute garbage.
Good one
Customer service is Absolutely Horrible I called 5 times and was on 40 minutes the first time and 25 minutes and 30 minutes Its very unprofessional 🙁 not even one star
Worst customer service ever and I haven’t been able to log in to my account in almost a month.
Customer service is fine but the meter readers are worthless.
Thanks very much to the technicians who have to go out into the cold and darkness to restore our electricity. We appreciate you.
Tucker a contractor Utility Vegetation Management Technician is rude. Not a professional at all.
Easy drive-up dropbox in parking lot. Or office lobby in-person.
The coal trains keep rolling into Lincoln. As such a cheap resource you think our electricity would be cheaper than what it is. This corporation only cares about profits.
They disconnect now with no notice so you have to pay a deposit. I only rated 1 because i had to give that to rate them
When. I called LES to set up payment arrangements the BASTERS send you a discount noticed in the mail.
They dont send letters or try to contact you before shutting off your power even if you pay on time
The customer service inside is horrible!! Never been so frustrated. However, received excellent service calling inbound while sitting outside in my car.
Tree came down on the line to my house and you guys were out the same day to fix it. Thanks so much!
I really like les customers service. They are patient and helpful , also you don’t need wait a long time to speak with the real people not robot 😀 …
I always have issues with LES. Making payments through their online portal always seems to be an issue.
Mobile website is almost impossible to use and it’s really hard to believe that wasn’t the intention
Was overcharged over $250. Have reached out to customer service to no avail. Been imformed they wont do anything. These people are crooks and monsters.
Despicable company that will bill you random amounts for any reason they feel like and never return your deposit
And this is the problem with monopolies cant create enough energy so people in hospitals die and people die in accidents because of traffic lights good job les!!! No competition
Paid the balance of the bill off after waking up to no power to be told it could be a cpl days before power is restored
I work for an apartment complex on the south end of town and frequently call to check averages on apartments for our residents. The staff has been very helpful and very friendly when we call and it is so appreciated.
their website sucks. If you think you have autopay set up it will just turn off and they’ll shut your power off without warning.
Business practices and fees are questionable.
Great customer service and wonderful building! LES is the best!
