Power got shut off never got a notice. Call and they say theirs nothing they can do tonight.
They only accept cash or check, didn’t see a sign reading that until after waiting in line for ten min.

Rude staff. I pay my bills on time and when they hand the change back they throw it into the metal dish under the glass and you have to pick it off the floor. Fee for paying online.
Difficult to move addresses.
They shut my electric off and I called immediately to pay my bill right away in the morning. They said they dont turn it back on until the next morning! I told her I have two small children and need electric she said it doesn’t matter. Rude. I cannot believe there is nothing they can do. Horrible company.
Never have had a good experience with anyone who is employed here. Be prepared to be treated like an actual piece of trash when dealing with these people.

Very unreliable power utility. Runs a coal powered system which is terrible for the planet. They happily pollute the air and water for the residents of Manitowoc, which likely causes a lot of the brain disease that seems to proliferate the city.
All the negative reviews on here are ridiculous, I’ve lived in a situation where the power bill wasn’t getting paid and mpu took multiple months to shut us off with plenty of notice given ahead of time. I live at my own place now and pay the bill monthly there are no issues, it really is that simple.
Have been living in the city of Manitowoc for over a decade with no issues whatsoever. I believe if you pay your bills ahead of time or ON TIME, you will have no issues. Not sure why more people don’t just pay online. Easier and safer.
