I went to the ER with possible broken leg. They did not offer a Wheel chair to ambulate in the ER or a ride to my car. I literally hobbled out of the ER to my car unassisted on a possible broken leg.

Memorial hospital has almost always met my needs. The only complaint is their inability to provide complete sedation for those of us who are claustrophobic who need an MRI. Considering the number of patients who need this there is no excuse.
The staff I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and knowledgeable. The person that performed the test was great also. Was told we would be contacted within 24 hours but haven’t been contacted yet at about 30 hours.

My experience with the Oncology Department was good with the exception of the time I spent there. I was accustomed to 1 1/2 hours at the Cancer Care Center in O’Fallon prior to this and I spent 3 hours at Chester yesterday. Hopefully that will improve.
