I have lived in a number of more urban places where power restoration takes days at times. Here in a rural area with lots of space and relatively few people not to mention trees and Mother Nature to contend with, these guys are Superman …
Awful service, They are closed on Friday, which hinders me every few months. They shouldn’t be closed on Friday, CSKT does it, but Mission Valley Power isn’t Tribally owned.
I like the
Solar thought some of the girls are great then theres a few like always that are as dishonest as can be ,,Lie right to your face..i use them because there’s’ none other but a wood stove and some solar panels oh ye Cut that bill
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE costumer service and my word charging $500 to get power into ones name…..! Seriously how about the ones that are going hungry with hardly enough money to survive?? Are they supposed to go without power so they can put food on the table?? Absolutely unbelievable.
Unsure of a service review as of yet; we are new customers and have only received a single (partial-month) bill. The reason for the 2-star rating is there’s two extra fees on this bill that were never communicated… $10 transfer fee, and …
Yay MVP. We had an outage just before 5 o’clock today and the power company had the power back on by 5:30. I run a bed-and-breakfast and was just going over the “who goes potty where“, with my guests when the power came back on. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Probably the worst power company I have ever dealt with. Nobody there is nice or helpful. If had a choice of using any other power company, I would do that in a second.
“Amanda” lacks customer care skills. Her accusatory temper is highly insulting. Fails to listen… never a “please”, “thank you” or “you’re welcome”. I give her credit for being consistently annoying and unprofessional.
Shysters! They are worst then the IRS when comes finding ways to penalize you! You paid $3 less than what you owed and are 5 days late with that $3, expect a friendly in person $50 reminder that you owe $3; well now make that $53.. I have …
We were without power for probably close to 20 hours. This morning we drove past the carnage on Finley Point left from the storm that came through yesterday. It could have been two days without power, and we wouldn’t have been surprised. …
Worst customer service ever. They send bills with a due date then show up at your door with a different due date. They lack all compassion and understanding. I wish I had a different choice. No loyay to customers. Buying solar panels asap.
Terrible Service Provider in many ways.
Unfriendly service. What seems like a 3rd party app on Android, does not work properly. So giving them a call to check on my power is annoying. No bills or receipts in the mail, I prefer to see on paper what I pay or need to pay.
Agreed worse company on the face of earth. Full of a Bunch of Money hungry demonds. They are the most coldest heartless people (if you can even call them people) I’ve ever encountered in my life! they don’t care wether you have kids or …
Absolute criminals. I never get a bill before it’s almost time for disconnect, and if I pay what it says online they say oh that’s not the total you owe. I am getting two bills a month. Then I haven’t even been there for a month i get a …
The ladies in office are so patient and explain everything. There are no suprises . Pre-paying means I never get behind which I love AND you get warnings when your credit dwindles. The ap tells you your daily average of usage.
How can you be charged a disconnect fee, instead of a late fee. On top of being at my door not even 30 days late. And demand all these fees that are being charged for days you weren’t even late. Terrible company. Going to the better business bureau.
I wanted to write and think the engineering operations and construction team at MVP! Royce, Bob, and Cheyenne were amazing to work with and they took excellent care of us in our recent underground power installation. We were so grateful for …
I don’t see where the negative reviews are coming from. They have been nothing but helpful and polite! We just built a house a year ago and have no complaints!
Mission Valley Power SUCKS!!! DO NOT MOVE ANYWHERE WHERE YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM!!! You cannot trust them to hold up to their end of a payment arrangement, and when you call to pay your agreed upon amount on the date you scheduled to pay …
My wife and I have been a customers of Mission Valley Power for 24 years. I have found them to be very responsive the few times that I have ask anything of them. I have looked into the rates that other electrical utilities charge and find …
Constant power outages, often for hours at a time. Not sure if the system itself is outdated or if the repairs are done in as cheap a way as possible. Should you call asking for updates on an outage, be prepared to hear a lot of “I don’t know.” Not looking forward to seeing how things go in the event of real severe weather.
Might as well hook up a hydroelectric generator to my bath
tub because at least the water company is good people working, I would rather give them the business
The worst power company I’ve ever dealt with. Although their power can be less expensive their rules and regulations to do help their customers and users.
The reviews don’t lie. Horrible business practices. You’re forced to enter a prepay agreement if you don’t pay them a $500 deposit. Then, they act like that’s totally normal when you question it. …
All of the ladies in customer service are the best and so are the lineman. All the people complaining should pay their bills on time and you probably wouldn’t have so many issues. Mission Valley Power has the cheapest power rates around.
The rudest people not to mention they want to argue with you when they get information incorrect. Unfortunately you cannot go anywhere else. They have a monopoly on Polson customers. This service is much higher than I had living in Somers. Please Flathead Electric come in this area and give them some competition!
I see some great reviews and I don’t know who they get that great customer service from. We yet to have them come back as promised and cut the rest of the tree down. On top of that I was placed as an authorized user on the account 2 xs …
I love the prepaid plan! Doesn’t cost anything to get started. There is a minimum you have to “prepay for”, but it goes right on your account. You can put money on it from anywhere over the phone with a card or online, or they have kiosks …
The funny thing about all of these negative reviews is this. In all my time having been under MVP, I’ve only ever had problems with them when I’ve failed to pay my bills on time or entirely. As long as I’m on top of my payments, I’m …

Trash!!!!!
Criminals.
Always friendly and helpful
MVP sucks. There rates are to high.
Been trying to call for 5 hours… no one answers. WORST service ever!
They have the monopoly and treat their customers accordingly.
Lousiest effing company I’ve ever had to do business with!
It really depends on the day, some days are great other days they have the worst service I’ve ever seen!!!
Horrid company they would allow poor children to freeze to death if their parents can’t pay during winter months without blinking an eye.
This place has the worst customer service ever!! I get so crabby every time I call there because those ladies at the front know absolutely nothing!
Absolute garbage customer service. Due dates keep switching, auto pay never works. Time for an alternative.
Awful service, They are closed on Friday, which hinders me every few months. They shouldn’t be closed on Friday, CSKT does it, but Mission Valley Power isn’t Tribally owned.
Oh come on they aren’t that bad! I’m new to the area and thought they got back to me right away and did their job just fine 🙂

Went to go restore power on a property in the middle of the winter, and now I can’t because you can’t get ahold of anyone. Absolutely rediculous.
