Missouri Baptist Medical Center Reviews ( 170 )

  1. The staff was awesome they couldn’t have been nicer. they really took very very good care of me. I was so impressed with the professionalism and the caring attitude. Just wonderful.
    Thank you.

  2. My son had a cut on his eye and needed immediately attention, the nurse and receptionist attend to him quick and got him the meds he need. Best hospital in Missouri ❤️

  3. Took my husband to the e.r. on a Thursday night arriving a little after 9:30 pm. It is 4:30 a.m and he has yet to be seen. He is in a lot of pain so I asked for his nurse and she (Kelly) came into the room with an attitude stating she’s “exhausted” and he picked a bad night to get sick! What the hell happened to bedside manner?!!!!

  4. MO Bap always takes walk in appointments, until today! After spending 20 minutes parking then getting to the 6 th floor, I signed in and was called to tgt desk. The receptionist decided they were to busy to take my business. I will get my mammogram somewhere else.

  5. This is by far the worst company ever. They hired me which i quit a job i was on 3 years at that point. Then the last day of my orientation a week before christmas they fired me because i had earbuds in my ear on break. But they just so …

  6. You will get no better nursing care than Mobap. No question about it. Go stay at another hospital I can promise you if you do, your next hospital stay will be at Missouri Baptist. Thank you for the care you have given my family!!! Mobap nurses rock

  7. From the ER through the end of my stay after having to have an incarcerated hernia repaired, I was treated like I was their only patient. Every person working in that hospital should be commended on a job very well done!!!!!

  8. One word… Rasist!

They let 2 white males eat a full course meal in the ER and when i tried to eat trail mix after a 4 hour wait… They told me NO! My 1st and last time going to MOBAP!

  9. On the better side of hospitals. I would definitely go here over Mercy. Of course most U.S. hospitals are falling apart due to a plethora of reasons but these guys are decent.

  10. This hospital is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I had orders from my doctor for a covid and influenza test, had to take public transportation because I don’t have transportation and have been yelled at by 3 different people!!They even called the police on me?? I’ll NEVER come here again!! This hospital absolutely sucks!!

  11. I had one of the best nurses!!! There were a couple of snobby nurses though and the techs we’re terrible… They acted like they had something better to do than help me… Loved barb though!!

  12. These people messed up my baby’s birth certificate. My baby turned 2 years, still they didn’t correct it.called multiple time and no response, they say they have corrected, but get the same old error birth certificate…do u guys understand how important these documents..negligence..I won’t give 1 star too..

  13. They were very caring, patient and understanding of a very large family as we said “see you on the other side” to a loved one who had a massive stroke. They worked diligently to save him and seemed as devastated as us by such a tragedy. He was one of the good ones and too young. See the later rich! Love you much

  14. MBMC is a JOKE!!! the nurses DON”T know what the left or the right hand is doing as far as scheduling patients for appointments. The Nurses are rude and don right Degrading. Please DO BETTER:} post covid

  15. I went by ambulence tohe ER at MoBap. There they replaced the IV started in the ambulence. After the doctor got lab and XRay results, he decided to admit me. I was in ER only 1.5 hours. I had kidney dialysis twice while at MoBap. I was better in 3 days and released.

  17. I was referred to Missouri Baptist Hospital and glad I was. I have a very unusual lung proplem and was refured to the hospital from 200 miles away. They took special interest and care of me threw this tough time in my life. and yes I am going to let them do surgury on me again I feel safe and confidence in their doctors

  18. Very nice staff, very caring and friendly and helpful. Seen right away. All questions answered. Would have given 5 stars if would have had private room plus there was some older furniture (bedside table didn’t work). Other than that it was fantastic! Hands down miles above DePaul imo!

  19. My wife just had a tumor removed at this facility and we were really pleased with the level of care we received. I felt they went beyond any other hospital we’ve been to and were proactive instead of reactive. Highly recommend

  20. When the nurses have to admit a new patient they neglect all their other patients for long periods of times. I was in a lot of pain and they ignored my care and administration of pain meds for hours at at time.

  21. Social services at this hospital were rude and lied about what I said to them for future care of my mom. Always thought very highly of them before this last incident. Be careful when you deal with the case workers and social services at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

  26. My dad was in for covid and they sent him to rehab for an injury that happened over 30 years ago and they did more damage than good. Also he is unable to eat chicken or turkey and the first few days he was in that’s all they brought him.

  27. The ICU nurse, Erin, should be commended for being, in my not humble opinion, an example of truly knowledgeable, capable, intelligent nursing – far superior to whomever the man supposedly in charge. My experience with Erin was not a recent one and I am remiss in posting this accolade. Forgive me.

  28. My father was admitted with a pneumonia. I will say ER doctor and nurses were great! The floor doctor and other specialist were not! My father has a history of CDIFF and when starting antibotics he also has to be put on medicine for the …

  29. 3 hour wait in ER waiting room without explanation was brutal. Poor man across from me waited same amount of time and was vomiting periodically in a basin and not once did anyone come out to check on him. Obvious that more staff is needed.

  30. Forget the cardiology department
Go to Mercy!! My husband had an ICD placed today. New computer system. No one knew where to find the results from Barnes-St. Peter’s on his most recent …

  31. This hospital seems grossly understaffed. In the waiting room for 4hrs. In the er room for 2 hrs before doctor even showed his face. Wife had to sit in pain for over. Asked the nurse, said it would be a minute. 45 min later asked again said doctor was on his way. I hate this hospital.

  52. Just had our first baby here and it was such a great experience. Every single person on staff we can in contact with was so caring and helped us so much, especially the nurses. They provide free services for after the baby is born as well so by using MoBap, you’ll never feel alone.

  130. I went in with abdomen pain, hoped to get an ultrasound and be on my way. Instead, I was asked to undress then and there, wasn’t given the option of a female doctor or nurse to do the “manual pelvic exam”, I wasn’t asked if I was okay with …

  134. My daughter has been in the pediatric emergency room for a few days due to her mental health. Kim the RN has been very supportive, understanding, courteous, has been trying her hardest to get my daughter placed somewhere so she can get the help she needs. 140. Rather die then go to MoBap. Luckily Mercy is next to it. MoBap has horrendous communication with its patients. They like to cancel your appointments a day before even if you had it scheduled months out or if it is for post surgery. GO TO MERCY DONT WAIST YOUR TIME WITH MOBAP.

  141. I had my baby here adn it was the best experience. The staff was amazing. The food is good. I stayed for 3 days and it felt like a hotel. WE enjoyed our stay. Thanks again!

  142. My experience at MoBap was extraordinarily memorable and pleasant, the staff at labour and delivery made my husbands and I stay very comfortable. The nurses gave our twin babies the best level of care and provided excellent advice on how to care for my sons and recover from childbirth.

  143. Dirty, unfriendly staff that won’t answer ANY questions. ER staff was terrible. At LEAST 9 hour wait in ER and I ask for an allergy bracelet due to KNOWN allergy and the nurse refused. It’s getting as bad if not worse than DePaul. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

  144. In 2020, a specialist saved my life so I had a soft spot for this hospital but since then things hv declined. I had a recent stay and I sent back my meal tray everytime bc pink, rubber or extremely overdone chicken or a spoiled sweet potato …
