  1. I don’t know how they can be any more incompetent.
Received a letter mid January saying that my daughter’s Cobra coverage was terminated because they did not receive December’s premium. I called several times …

  2. Horrible Horrible phone service !! Took 2 weeks and probably 18 plus calls to talk to a human being all to find out I never needed to call as I no longer will be getting a 1095-B as I am now in the Medicare PPO System. Used to be great service there but in last 3 years has declined badly.

  3. The customer service there is good when u walk in. But if you try to pay your premium online or take care of things on the phone, It’s horrible.

  4. Very uncooperative people; worst people to deal with by far, extreme disrespect for elderly and people with various challenges. Avoid them if you can but if you do not have a choice then you are very unfortunate.

  5. There seem to be a lot of disgruntled folks with our plan…but, I don’t know guys…I see people in that office trying to HELP and they have REPEATEDLY done so for me!…SO THANK YOU…for doing your best and solving issues for us all. Julio Macat

  6. can’t wait for my husband to be on Medicare- hate the rule that you have to get a yearly physical with the MD at Skirball- they are horrible & a waste of time.

  7. Very uncooperative over the phone. I was billed $670 for lab work for my regularly annual physical for going to my regular physician who is 3 min away from my house who accepts PPO

  8. This office has been amazing for us. We have had some big health issues in the last 2 years, and they have been nothing but helpful. So grateful to them!

  9. who makes decisions? chooses what is most convenient for the members? I now believe no amount of money would buy good health insurance, It would pay really good salaries to not very good CEOs though…

  10. My son is trying to get his money to survive but your major incompetence is unbelievable. You either don’t know what you are doing, or just don’t care. I guess since you are collecting a paycheck nothing else matters! What a terribly run organization. How disheartening for people in need.

  11. I haven’t had any problems with Mpiphp in 30 years union.
I use tha Anthem/blue cross hmo plan. We’ve used it for 2 kids also.
I use the Toluca lake clinic ,open til 8pm,and the Valencia clinic. Works for us fine.

  12. MPIph has to be the most crooked managing health plan weve ever encountered. Even the employees try to screw the members. They know they can treat us poorly becuase we cant take our money or invest in another plan. …

  13. I’m a retired member of the motion picture industry. I have to agree that phone service has fallen off tremendously from the way it was when I came into the industry. I understand there are many more members but the industry has not kept up …

  14. I called in to ask a few questions about my Retirement Benefits so that I could fill out a Financial Disclosure for a Divorce. Lady on the line was incredibly rude and hung up on me! I swear I wasn’t in a bad mood or anything, she was literally more rude to me then my Ex-wife has been through my entire Divorce process.

  15. An update. The pros; benefits are really good and they do offer plenty of incentives. The cons; the HR manager does nothing to rectify real issues, and will always side with management. The management in the Pension department is a joke, …

  16. This health plan is the worst I’ve ever dealt with! The employees are uninformed and inexperienced, . Their business hours are not helpful in the least to their members that work long hours in the Entertainment Industry! The plan does …

  17. I’ve called dozens of time in the last year and have had only good experiences with the staff. I don’t always like the answers I get but they have always given honest answers. Retiring and medicare is a lot to digest and can be overwhelming but write your questions down and try to remember that they are trying to help you.

  18. My husband is a member of mpi. When I retired at 62 I was offered cobra cobra by my employer. I decllined coverge thinking I would be covered by mpi through. My husband, Mpi said that since I didn’t take the cobra they would no longer cover …

  19. The most inconsistent, horribly inaccurate information given over the phone. This cost my wife and Kids to lose their medical in which they rely on monthly. Upon arrival The Payment manager MONICA Could only tell me what i did wrong and was …

  20. I wish there was a way of giving minus stars. This is third world quality health care. Where once a shining beacon of the motion picture industry the quality of service is beyond sub par. There is only one phone number that allows you to …

  21. It gets worse! Just wait until they dump you on Medicare Part D Prescription Coverage Many medications are changed or denied. I’ve been fighting this nightmare for six months now. And by the way, you won’t be allowed to say no. You are …

  22. In October 2017, my union eligibility for health insurance ran out. I then signed up for COBRA, through MPI. Since that time, for the last 8 months, like clockwork, they’ve been sending me “notice of ineligibility” packages stating that my …
