I love this school. Love the teachers. Some of the classrooms could use an update but I really love it here. Find a buddy to carpool with and you can get a pass to guarantee an easier spot.
I attended MHCC back in 1997 and graduated from the MCAP Automotive program. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you so much Steve Roberts and Steve Michener!
This is by far the best college I have ever attended the instructors are attentive and very much committed to each student to Graduation the atmosphere of the class is a great feeling the students are encouraged to work together as a team …
MHCC IS THE BEST.
Except the ladies at the front desk of the student union today.
One was very rude when I asked for help when I was really confused.
Kindness never hurt anyone…
Best experience I ever had. I attended this school for an international exchange program on 2010, teachers and staff were so kind and make us challenge ourselves.
I don’t see many images of the campus, so, I don’t have a complete idea on how the school looks like. Please post more or take better photos. Seems like an amazing school.
I went to mhcc from 1991 to 1993. It was the best experiencie of my student life. All I learned has been of a great help in my working life here in my home country Honduras. Thanks a lot and greettings to all my friends in OR.
Poor school. The classes are over priced for what they actually teach you. Waste of time and money. No redeeming classes there. If you are just looking for your associates then I suggest looking elsewhere. Very user unfriendly and they don’t cater to yhe students needs.
Shouldn’t even be able to put 1 star…Teachers are sub-par if that to be honest. The curriculum most are using have been using for a while, and have not updated it to much. One of the teachers basically was teaching a class where they would just recite lines from the text with no actual background to the context. Not VA friendly.
Ive been to three local cc pcc and ccc as well as mhcc. Mhcc has by far been the best. In terms of keeping their stuff in order by far the best. ccc has smaller class sizes but for as big as this school is i think they do sooo well. PCC is a hard pass if youre considering just dont
Great college The math, chemistry, and physics departments are top notch and have fantastic professors! If you want to take engineering here go to PSU or CCC instead and save yourself some trouble.
Please ignore people complaining about financial aid. You are responsible for applying for your own FASFA like any other real college, school has nothing to do with it. The school is great in every aspect. Parking is tight but you can always find something it just might be far from your class at times.
The teachers I’ve had really enjoy what they do which is the best quality to have in a teacher…most of the time. There are many teachers here who have numerous complaints against them and still work here, how? …
So far, I have only applied for admission. I have not attended classes at MHCC yet. I am taking the required courses through Chemeketa to get into the Funeral Service program at MHCC. So far in working with MHCC, I have found the …
I love mhcc. Many great teachers and a bunch of programs to choose from. The campus is really easy to navigate. The advisors help you, front desk people help you. Any issue I’ve had someone at mhcc has helped me fix it and was on my side. It’s really a great school.
I wish I went to PCC. Least helpful or understanding staff. I don’t think they understand why they’re there. I’m literally begging for support after a death in my family and a personal mental health crisis and I just keep getting the run …
For the degree I took, business administration w/ accounting, I had some of the best teachers. Mr. Wong was wonderful to learn from about international business. Harry DeWolf was another gem of a teacher who knew what he was talking about. …
This was my second worst college experience. The worst was Everett University. These guys are rude, unprofessional crooks. Both me and a cousin of mine attended this school at different times in our lives and suddenly owed the school money. …
I was at Mt. Hood Community College for the first time this weekend for the state track meet. Seems like an okay campus but the facilities generally seemed clean/well kept. The most notable feature was the large dome that their basketball gym is housed in, I can imagine it would be a fun to see a game there.
This place has a lot going for it. The campus is beautiful and the classrooms are comfortable and tuition is reasonable. I recommend you check it out yourself. Very nice for a community college .
Not a good school. I just got my associate’s. Poor selection of classes. Crappy teachers. There is a review below about being bullied by the sculpture teacher, and I had the same experience with the sculpture teacher. Other teachers don’t …
Parking is just horrible but it’s a pretty good school. Most days of the week, all the parking lots are full and there’s like 10 other people driving around the campus looking for a parking spot. If you arrive 10 minutes before your class …
For a community college this place has a LOT going for it. Everyone I’ve worked with, taken classes from (in the main campus as well as their community education classes), have been fantastic. The campus is beautiful, the bookstore is very …
Covid or not Covid. Be Strong and Be Healthy, Be Smarter, Be Learning. All a awesome time all Experience.
Bless Jesus Christ and Comfort each another and Be Respectful eventually Polite. Love each another. And Walk with Lord Jesus Christ
Great college! Teachers always there for you. I graduated with 2 degrees within 2 years…it wasn’t cake walk but with teachers always being there for you it made it easier. 4 stars because parking need some adjustments. There are so many students and yet parking lot is small.
I attended MHCC over 15 years ago and it was a wonderful experience. My husband now attends and loves the campus feel and is happy with the instructors so far. …
The teachers are great and the campus is nice but trying to get financial aid during COVID is impossible. The financial aid advisors are rude and don’t seem like they want to help you at all. Just because of this reason I will not be …
You have to take the bad with the good. There are some great people who work for this school, then there are people who could care less bout you and your education. They make you jump through hoops and pass you around with little to no …
I’ve been coming to the “Mount Hood School of Cosmetology” since 2012, because I’ve a good head of hair to volunteer to these students for practicing and honing their skills! Always an incredible experience, and I love the relationships I’ve been honored to participate in between instructors and students! 💖😎🤗 …
Amazing college and the staff I’ve come across are really nice, understanding, and flexible if need be. I’m proud to say I’m a MHCC Saint and that I chose this school as my home away from home to become a forestry major.
Maybe it’s nostalgia, but I love this campus and I got lucky with the best instructors I’ve ever seen. It’s also really full of beautiful nature spots.
Loved the campus atmosphere there, great customer service, met at the door with help as soon as you walk thorough the doors. Had such a great experience with something I thought was gonna be stressful! Five stars from me!

Beautiful. Campus security is friendly.
Awesome professors, great variety of courses
Beautiful campus, eveyones so friendly and helpful!
Nice campus and easy place to go for testing
I should have known better than to go to a liberal school in a liberal state with liberal indoctrination
Awesome fishing for kids and adults, great time!
Horrible customer service! Everyone in the office makes you feel like you are bothering them.
Campus is good for walks while closed for classes
Best 2 year theatre program in the state of Oregon
Bad college I have 109 credits for 5 Different degrees do to bad college advisers taking advantage of a special needs student
It’s unfortunate that so many great teachers are dragged down by such poor administration.
Dude they have tennis courts with huge lights that they keep on until 12am. C’mon, thats like that last place in Portland that has that.
Best school experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to many different schools
Pretty good school, nice teachers, and a wide variety of classes and degrees.
Have found amazing skill, integrity and goodness here. As long as I live here, I will continue to go to Mt. Hood Cosmo College.
Bullied by the teacher in sculpture class, repeatedly! So disappointed in the integrity of the art dept. Don’t waste your money trying to learn here.
Some great professors but like every college tuition is astronomical.
It’s a good college to go to in order to follow my career path to becoming an ornithologist.
I’m studying Winter term here now
Until now I’m having a lot of fun
Studying hard the students are kind
Everything is amazing here !
Friendly teachers eager to help out and amazing support where it’s needed
Graduation for brother, Facility was nice and well maintained.
I had life impacting experiences here with the music department. MHCC offered me a huge savings with quality education.
Good college, not too spendy. Great funeral service program the teachers are amazing and very helpful.
I love it as a college
People there friendly and awesome
Except for academic advising center they never reply to a call which is super annoying

I was there in 1970-1972. The school was just in the process of being built. It was a great transition from high school to college. Beautiful campus!
