Nothing more than rude and nasty. Had no water on at my property or anyone living there and they sent me bill for 500 bucks and said pay or water gets turned off. Ruthless and fraudulent.
I always have a good experience when I rarely have to call in. Speak to people kindly, be respectful and you will get the same in return. I’ve never had anything but great, responsive services and polite representatives.
Had my water disconnected instead of just transferring to my name. Took 5 days to get reconnected and I had to get very upset before they would come out at 7 p.m. to turn it back on. Their mistake and they can’t see fit to do it during normal business hours. If I had another option, I would change companies.
Customer service reps need re-training, very rude and disrespectful. Records are not updated even though you aren’t able to update your own information online, you have to hope that when you update something it is entered in correctly on their end and they will not take responsibility for their errors. Very rude!

Their website is circa 1995. Hope you have your account number and invoice number in order to pay your bill! And it’s so slow, it would be quicker if you walked down there and paid in person.
The customer service representative on the phone was short with me …but no problem….the 2 guys that came to my house made up for her..they were the best…no bs….got the job done and with professionalism…I am very impressed…wish I could have called them directly…..

This “public service” is far from service friendly! Not only have the rates increased astronomically but the customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with! Don’t even think about speaking with someone, they do NOT care. This is one local who has had enough of being treated so poorly in my own town!
Don’t pay your bill via auto pay with your bank. If you are one day late with your bill, they shut your water off. The problem is they are not set up to receive auto payments from the bank, because they still operate in the stone age, so it takes 2 days for the check to get there, so they will not wait. HORRIBLE customer service.
Mt P waterworks took almost two weeks to come out and fix a leak. When they eventually came out they did a banging job of cutting our Comcast cable wire. You know that bright orange one. This poses a bit of an issue when you work from home. You have one job. Fix a leak, not create a second issue.

The service is very bad and rude, they hang up the phone after you ask them to connect to supervisor. Just recently found that the due date for the billing cicle change every month, very good idea to charge every month from all of us 7.00$. 65$ fee over 94$, I think its to much. I do not have pure water from my faucet.

I cannot say enough bad things about this company. I made three emergency phone calls and left my name with the after hours service for 2 days. I did not receive a call back .they did not consider a “leak” of over 3000 gallons an emergency since it was not flooding my house. Absolutely the worst. I wish there were other options.
I just finished speaking with a very helpful Waterworks employee who was also patient with the confusing situation I described. She was able to help me resolve the issue and was as nice as she could be. Her help was much appreciated.
Had a great call with Dara Nelson, who explained everything clearly and guided me through my questions. Awesome Dara! Need more people like you out there especially this day and age.
I accidently overpaid my bill by a significant amount. I called the Mt Pleasant Waterworks to discuss this with them. Ellen was very helpful and worked with the accounting department to process a refund right away. I was able to pick up the check at the office. Thank you for your customer support.

Hats off to the water company. They kept the water flowing during hurricane Dorian. Dominion on the other hand gave me lights out for 3 days.
They deserve a zero, they cut my water off when I was out of town and had a scheduled payment before the actual due date. They are the worst.
