Neurology Associates of San Antonio Reviews ( 25 )

  1. While the doctors don’t treat the condition for my family member, Destiny was extremely understanding and helpful in offering referrals to others who might. She was extremely understanding and I couldn’t be more grateful for her assistance.

  2. Makes decisions and alters test results due to personal political bias. Does not demonstrate integrity or honesty in patients actual health problems proven contradictory by MRI x rays and second opinions.

  3. I only gave them 2 stars.
#1 my Dr Garcia testing was very complex. Right off the bat judge my low scores on depression. Am not depressed. I have a chronic illness that no one …

  4. My wife saw Dr. Vu for two loss of consciousness falls. He showed very little interest and empathy. After the MRI results of the brain were available, he did not call. As I am a retired physician, I called him. The office said the …

  5. I loved Dr. Maria Alvaraz however her staff is very unprofessional and extremely hard to get a hold of. Recently I had an appointment and I woke up with a fever and strep throat, I went to my PCM first thing after waking up to get treated …

  6. Do not see Dr. Vu, I was referred to his office for Botox as I have a horrible migraines. His first reaction to my referral was that I do not have migraines and I need to sleep, gave me sleep medication told me to come back in a month… …

  7. Wouldn’t recommend. I am a younger person with a history of back problems, ranging from lower back to neck, that have been getting progressively worse. I am also very stubborn and it takes a lot for me to finally admit when I need help. I …

  8. I haven’t even gotten in the door and I am not impressed. I am very busy and a well organized office with flexible communication is more important to me than the docs bedside manner. Since we deal with the office staff and nurses more …

  9. If you are active duty military with tricare DO NOT COME HERE. Their office staff does not understand how tricare works and will rudely argue with you about your coverage. Haven’t been able to see a provider because we never got passed the front window. Can’t figure out how to give less than 1 star.

  10. The worst place ever. I wouldn’t recommend. the staff is so rude, specially June (the receptionist). She is rude and very unprofessional. She doesn’t know how to treat people as a humans. She sent me out of the office like if I was an …

  11. Disclaimer: my visit was a year ago. Maybe things are different now. I’m a medical student who went to Dr Vu for headaches and confusing/scary neuro symptoms. I really liked that Dr Vu admitted he didn’t have the expertise to help me. …

  12. I moved to San Antonio From another state. As a migraine sufferer for years I immediately looked for a neurologist. Dr. Alvarez was the third one I had tried in a 1 year span. Subpar is an understatement. She rushes you. Barely looks at …

  13. I see alot of doctors offices rated poorly because of the rude front office staff, and I usually find that out to be true. However in this case the front office staff was fantastic and the woman who took my blood pressure and everything was …

  14. I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews. I love this place. Dr. Vu listens to me, believes me, gives me options for treatment. He isn’t pushy about the medicines either. He allows me to be a part of my treatment plan. If I need refills and call it in, it’s sent in quickly too. I recommend him and his office.

  15. Insurance had me go to a specific MRI location that doesn’t put the results on a portal. No one at Neurology Associates told me that when they called to make my appointment so I came without them thinking they had all they needed. When I …

  16. Hope you have insurance. Every phone call they charge you for, AT LEAST $30. 5 different recordings when you call (sometimes with press this for that options, sometimes just says call back later) none say anything about a cost to talk to …
