Beware of the third party doctors at ER. Receptionist won’t tell you about them. Even though this hospital is in your insurance network, the third party doctors, who pretends they are part of the hospital, are not counted.

Received a statement 2 years later from the date of service, then they tell me they cannot bill Medi-Cal because it has passed the period of timely filing even though I was covered under Medi-Cal at the time. My experiences here have been good. The staff has always been polite. The waiting room isn’t the best but I’ve been in and out in about 6 hours on both my visits. The waiting sucks but it is an E.R. I appreciated how fast I was seen but I wasn’t given the time or space to calm down from my panic attack to properly communicate with the staff.
