Washington Athletic Club Reviews ( 93 )

  1. I was fortunate enough To stay for a month. The staff were courteous and very professional. The restaurant has excellent food and service. Generally this is a great place.

  2. I have been going to this place for 11yrs and have had no problem ever!!! I also love the day care center there and all of the staff!!!🎊🎉🎊😋😋😋💝💝💝 …

  3. We were guests at the WAC as a result of one of the members generosity. The accommodations, the employees, and the hotel / Club could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

  4. Staff doesn’t do anything if you have a problem during your stay. We were in 1401 and couldn’t get a good sleep as the walls were shaking all night. Front desk staff didn’t care at all.

  5. Service was extremely slow, food was not great except for the vegetables. Bread pudding was absolutely HORRIBLE. White bread saturated in eggnog, then micromicrowaved. They need to hire a real chef.

  6. After dealing with the WAC parking garage attendant asking questions about my mistake of parking in the wrong garage and trying to get an understanding of where I parked and where I should have parked my taste of the WAC is disastrous, …

  7. I rejoined the WAC in 1999 and it is the best decision I ever made. The staff members genuine and are top class individuals. I think of; Scottie, Will, Earl, Derick, Jon, and Mark just to name a few. They are always willing to help …

  8. Big rooms, the best bed I have ever slept in!
Drawback for me was that they would not give me any extra time in my room b4 checking out. My flight left at 6pm. All I wanted was an extra hour.

  9. Been coming here since I was little (20+ years now). Started doing their kids programs and now that I’m an adult I utilize their workout facilities, sports bar, pool, and basketball courts. This place is hands down the best club in the …

  10. Disappointing experience! There are better options in downtown Seattle. Upon arrival my room had a nasty stain in th bathtub, musty smell, and dirty mirrors. I was moved to a room across the hall from the service elevator that made noise …

  11. I love the WAC! My husband I originally joined for the athletic facilities, but we’ve been very happy with the social and community aspects of the club. We’ve met so many great people! It’s also nice to have access to quiet restaurants and seating areas downtown.

  12. Top City Athletic Club. Engaged and professional staff. Friendly club members. Food is amazing from their head Chef. Workout facilities are endless and a great pool. Definitely join the WAC if you are looking for a gym and lifestyle that will help you succeed!

  13. Love this place! It’s my home away from home. The building is outdated but they’re constantly trying to improve their facilities. Right now they’re updating the elevators one by one as to not disrupt guest experiences. I love the staff as well. Very friendly, polite and there to WOW you!

  14. After flying into my home airport (Seattle), I arrived too late to make a connection to the island where I live. So my “home away from home” is the WAC (Washington Athletic Club) — my favorite place to stay in Seattle. Longtime staff, nice …

  15. Wonderful gym facilities and great staff but very small rooms. Having to show your key to get in is a bit of a pain, but I can live with it for access to the gym. The staff from the concierge to front desk and gym was very friendly. The …

  16. Incredible venue to host an event. They go above and beyond to extend you the best service possible, and they accommodate every request you make, regardless of its size. Food is delicious, too. Our organization is so lucky to have been hosted by the WAC!

  17. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to everything downtown Seattle has to offer. The price was very reasonable as well. The room was okay, nothing to write home about. I would stay here again given proximity to tourist …

  18. The Washington Athletic Club was built in 1930 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. This club offers many amenities. Check it out!

  19. Fantastic fitness experience with an amazing pool, and all the equipment you could want. I’ve been an WAC member for many years and the professional staff has always been above and beyond.

  20. We booked a block of rooms and the Governor’s Suite for our wedding on the recommendation of our venue and it could not have been a better choice. Not only was it close to our venue, but the room itself was gorgeous and the size of the …

  21. We recently joined the WAC and it’s wonderful. Quite probably the finest fitness and athletic facilities (5 full floors!) anywhere in the greater Seattle region, along with a full complement of other social club amenities., e.g., restaurants, meeting rooms, hotel accommodations, etc. Our only regret is not joining earlier.

  22. Wonderful hotel space, and an amazing room. Friendly staff, and the parts of the club I could see were nice. I wish that a room came with at least 1 day of entry to the club, and that the restaurants had been fully open.

  23. Had to quit after several years of membership due to poor customer service. We tried to hang in there and even had a sit down chat with upper management, but nothing came of it and the poor service continued. Long story, but the staff is …

  24. The hotel part had great service and the rooms were comfortable. The rooms are relatively smaller than what you’ll find in most hotels but pretty consistent with boutique type hotels. Views from the rooms are decent. One of the best …

  25. Has a musty feel to it all – sports bar has zero ventilation: rugs everywhere and furniture feel old, the hotel room/doors, the cafe – all very outdated. Seems like this place is milking its long-standing existence and trying to push forth …

  26. Nice venue, professional staffs, good food. The portabello mushroom is amazing, and of course it’s vegetarian. I was here for an engagement party and the host told me that the venue was free because they were members. We all enjoy the spacious and private arrangement. It can comfortably accommodate 120 people.
