About Southeastern Credit Union We’re a not-for-profit financial institution, and we offer all banking products and services, but unlike a bank, we have lower loan rates, higher deposit rates, and fewer fees. Since we don’t have stockholders, we reinvest any profits earned back into the credit union to offer our members the most up to date technology and products available. Anyone who lives or works in our fourteen-county field of membership is eligible to open an account. This includes Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Colquitt, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Pierce, Tift, Thomas, Turner and Ware counties.
