I didn’t get the guy name. Our power went out because the line broke in half tonight around 10 . We want to say SUPER THANKS for getting our power on tonight.
Terrible service, poor customer service. As I read posts on those who travel, we experience the same thing. It costs more to not use electric than it would to leave A/C running the whole time we are gone.
I wish there was another provider in the area, these people abuse their power way too much and severely overcharge. You’d think the customers would be treated like you know… customers?
Rates are outrageous, they are running everyone out of paducah. I can’t believe the local government is allowing these crooks to get away with this. Everyone needs to stand up and do something or paducah power will single handedly destroy paducah.
What an absolutely awful, bureaucratic POS utility company! And their website looks like it was made on Geocities in 1999. Rates are terrible.
Absolutely nothing redeeming about PPS. But of course nobody has a choice around here so we live with it.
I have photos of two telephone wires that I can prove were pulled apart by an automobile. I estimate there are 200 in Paducah alone already involved in automobile accidents. Paducah power and ATT are cutting telephone wires cable wires and …
Paducah Power — Thank You for the $520 electric bill that totally wrecked my budget & Thank You for closing the laundromat that I’ve gone to for 30 years. I sincerely hope that attorney Mark Bryant reems you a new butthole for all the worry & inconvenience you have caused your customers over the past year.
They keep putting my payments back onto my account when there is plenty of money in the bank (the same bank account its been coming out of since opening my account with them). They are unable to tell me why this happens when I call. Now they’re adding random fees with no description or notification. Very shady.
We have prepaid service with Paducah power and paducah power readings are not correct. They always say we used more KWH than what the meter actually says. They also charge more per KWH than what they are suppose to. They don’t deserve 1 star!
Literally have my hear on 55°, I am never home and I use 6$ a day at my 1,000 Sq ft apartment. I turn everything off and have everything unplugged not understanding what they are doing.
If there was a option to leave no stars to write a review! HORRIBLE customer service manager. The city of Paducah needs a different option. Expensive rates and don’t dare ask for a extension other than the two provided. They will tell you to go ask for hand outs.
This company is very disrespectful and does not try to help any one if they do so happen to do a favour for you they make you feel like garbage. I have the pay as you go.. Thats all i could afford ….so now they cut my power off over 1$ i …
Terrible, horrible customer service. They cut your service off if 15 days late with payment. They won’t even do you the courtesy of notifying you when they are there to cut it. I used to work for a power company and our guys always took …
I guess the bills have been a little high. but not higher than when i lived in louisville. been with paducah power for 3 years. never had any problems with them. always been pleasant on the phone. i always pay over the phone.
This company has made horrible decisions on where to get their power from and because of their mistakes we, the consumer, have to pay for it. On average for this summer our power bill has been around 180 a month for a 1200 sq.ft home. That …
I am so upset with this this service! I just recently moved to the area and I had no choice but to go with Paducah Power, at first I was excited about the fact that I could go with a pay as you go service but this has been the worst …
I have a two bedroom brick apartment with double-pane windows. I do laundry at most 3 time per month. My refrigerator is set to low and I run the dishwasher at most twice a week. I keep the thermostat set at 66 degrees, and on the really …
While not malicious, they have some pretty abrasive customer service. Its obvious they are putting no effort into customer relations. You would think they would since they have such a low approval rating. Had a billing issue with my bank …
What I want to know is how Paducah Power thinks it’s ok to charge nearly 50% more than major metropolitan cities in Kentucky. People who live in Louisville for example pay 9 cents/ kWh whereas we now have to pay nearly 14 cents/ kWh.
Moved out of an apartment in early August of this year, and called to have the power disconnected. The power company did not notate the power cutoff request, but they happily took my payment. Cut to late October, and I’m moving into a new …
I don’t understand how they are charging the prices that they are. I just moved to Paducah and am on the pay as you go program and am using anywhere between 45 and 56 kwh per day and it is averaging out to be between $12 and $16 per day for …
The worst! Bills were always outrageous and when we moved out of state, they sent me to collections for a remaining measly $57 that I never knew about not expected. I did not expect to pay anything after leaving bc when I called to cancel …
I won’t really focus on the high prices in this review.
Emily on the switchboard is very quick to give the wrong information, and is very slow to pass the call to someone with more knowledge of the account or …
This company has gone downhill. You can tell they are charging waayyyy too much now. The average kw usage we use doesn’t match to what it should be. On average it’s, $13-$16 per day. We basically have to shut the breaker off before we leave …
Outrageous prices
The worst period
$$$$$ Such expensive service.
Thieves
Bills are too high.
This place needs to be investigated for fraud and theft.
Good company with great people!
Called about power line down. Quick response.
Very poor test
Still not as bad as paducah water!!
Kios is very convenient.
Ok service kinda high prices
Very smart *** phone operators !!! Just plain RUDE !
I have found the employees very professional. I see better days ahead for Paducah Power.
Payed our bill and halfway through the month shut it off with no warning saying it was never payed, bs company
I didn’t get the guy name. Our power went out because the line broke in half tonight around 10 . We want to say SUPER THANKS for getting our power on tonight.
On pay as you go
They “estimate” usage which causes it to go from 7 kwh to 48 kwh even if you use the same amount every day
Terrible service, poor customer service. As I read posts on those who travel, we experience the same thing. It costs more to not use electric than it would to leave A/C running the whole time we are gone.
For an electric cooperative that we citizens supposedly own and operate you sure wouldn’t know it from the high rates that they charge.
I wish there was another provider in the area, these people abuse their power way too much and severely overcharge. You’d think the customers would be treated like you know… customers?
Terrible!! This power company sends out disconnect notices for a bill over 50.00 dollars when upon establishing service took a 200.00 deposit

We lose power on our road all the time. Some times its daily. very frustrating
